2 GWRRA Region H TX Top Wings of Amarillo GWRRA Chapter A October 2015 Newsletter Page 2 CD S CHATTER J ERRY CAMPSEY C HAPTER DIRECTO R Jerry Campsey Assistant Chapter Director A Good Summer Well, the summer is over and we have to check the weather close before we can plan rides. I hope all of you had as many good rides and time to look at God's beautiful creations as I did. I also had a lot of time for fellowship. I met lots of new friends to talk riding with. The chapter did some but not near enough for there is always someone that would like to get together and ride or just visit. Someone just has to suggest it. We are blessed for John Kelly and Betty Hisey may soon be able to be back riding with us. Our prayers are with them for a speedy and complete recovery. You that missed the picnic missed a fun time. We had 10 spend Friday night and 13 spend Saturday night. There was a total of 22 attend the picnic. We did lots of visiting, eating, and burning wood. It was really a nice fire for us to sit around and enjoy. We even had a baby to play with for Scott brought his granddaughter for us to spoil. She was just walking and everyone had a good time playing with her. We will start selling raffle tickets to earn money for the home ussery Veterans Home's Christmas present. Rafael will bring the tickets to sell to the October meeting for those who want to sell them. The winners will be drawn at the November meeting and the prizes will be presented to the winners at the December Christmas party. We will then determine how to spend the money for the Christmas present. The certificates for those who passed the motorcycle safety course should be received soon. That was a good time learning and practicing safety.
