Lodging information available from Match Secretary. Sponsors: The National Rifle Association and Ten-X Shooting Club, Inc. Our indoor range has 20 electronically timed, pneumatically operated target points. It has excellent facilities, ventilation and heating. The 2019 NRA Open Sectional National Indoor Pistol Championships are being fired at local Sectional Tournaments throughout the United States. Each competitor in this tournament will be entered automatically in the National Championship and all scores will be submitted to the NRA for national awards and ranking. NRA members must put their member ID number on their entry card. National Records may only be set by NRA members. Junior competitors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the person owning the pistol used by the junior competitor must be physically present during the match. Individuals and teams may enter only one (1) NRA Conventional Pistol Sectional during For this tournament, all current NRA Pistol Rules will govern. Equipment:.22 Caliber Pistol (Rule 3.4) Course of Fire: 50 feet. NRA B-2 slow fire target & B-3 timed/rapid fire targets used. 2 Categories: Entry Fees: Entries: Separate class awards for National Individual and Team championships will be given in each of three categories: Civilian, Police and Service. Local Sectional Class & Category awards will be given. See the award schedule in this program. Separate categories and awards will be offered to the high grand senior (age 70+), senior (age 60+), Junior, and Woman. Entry fees are as follows and include mandatory NRA Registered Sectional Match fee of $ 8.00 per entry (assessed per individual and per team). Match fee also includes lunch. Late or show-up entries will be allowed to range capacity. 20 Shooters can be accommodated per relay for a maximum total of 100 competitors. See event schedule, below, for relay information. Relays are subject to consolidation due to lack of participation, but no relays will be combined without prior notice and rescheduling of affected shooters. Team matches are fired matches. Four person teams as per NRA rules. Team match entries must be made by the team captain. Entries may be made at any time prior to the start of the team relays. No pick up teams. Range positions are assigned on a first-come basis. Teams need not fire as a unit. However, Teams must be declared before any team member fires the first team match. Scoring will be done by the competitors at the conclusion of the match. Challenges will be allowed per NRA rules. Challenge fee will be $ 1.00 per challenge and will be returned if the challenge is upheld. Page -2-

Competitors are strongly encouraged to arrive at least onehalf hour before the starting times. Overflow Relays: The Reserved - Overflow relays, listed above, will be filled last and may be consolidated or eliminated based on turn-out. Squadding of competitors to these relays will be only at the discretion of match staff, in consultation with the NRA referee. Page -3-

4 Awards: The National Rifle Association will provide separate National Indoor Pistol Championship awards for Individual and Team entrants per their schedule. NRA will also provide Sectional Individual and Team Championship awards to be awarded at this match. All awards will be according to the following schedule, and, where mentioned, award points are equal to U.S. dollar equivalents (but not necessarily exchangeable): 1. Sectional Open Awards: First place will given regardless of the number of competitors in the sectional. There must be a minimum of 15 competitors for second place and a minimum of 30 competitors for third place to be given. Winner, Second and Third will receive, respectively, a Gold Sectional Medallion and 15 award points; a Silver Sectional Medallion and 10 award points; a Bronze Sectional Medallion and 5 award points. 2. Sectional class and category awards: Separate awards will be given in the five classes: High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, & Marksman. There must be at least 5 competitors to establish a class and/or category. If there are less than five (5) competitors in any class or category, that class or category will be combined with the next higher class, except that if there are fewer than five (5) High Masters, High Masters will fire for open awards only and Masters will not be combined with High Masters. There will be a First Place in each established class and category. A Second Place in class and category will be awarded provided there are at least 8 competitors. A Third Place in class and category requires 13 competitors. A Fourth Place in class and category requires 24 competitors. Sectional Class and Category awards are provided by NRA & the Sponsor. First in class and category receives 10 NRA award points, second in class and category receives 8 NRA award points, and third in class and category receives 6 NRA award points. NRA award points are equivalent to and exchangeable for cash. 3. Team awards: Winning team award given with 20 award points to be furnished by the NRA. Second place requires at least 5 teams with 16 award points furnished by Ten-X. 4. Special Category awards: High Grand Senior, High Senior, High Junior, and High Woman. Souvenirs: Notice: Each competitor will receive a souvenir Sectional Pin provided by the NRA and a match souvenir provided the sponsor, Ten X Shooting Club. Professional conduct and the highest level of sportsmanship are expected of all competitors at all times. This should not need to be said. We reserve the right to exclude or eject anyone not conducting themselves in a safe and/or orderly manner. Further, the Ten-X Shooting Club, Inc., the National Rifle Association of America, Inc., their officers, members, as well as their successors, representatives and guests assume no responsibility or liability for any accidents occurring on or in the vicinity of the range, regardless as to their cause or nature. Competitors assume all risks of any nature in connection with attending and/or participating in this Sectional.
