2 Rotary at a Glance What is Rotary? Rotary brings together people who step forward leaders who take on important issues for local communities everywhere. Where will you find Rotarians? Serving in local soup kitchens Supporting youth programs, education Helping to build sustainable communities worldwide Involved in water filtration programs internationally Ending polio worldwide. Who are Rotarians? Rotarians are 1.2 million neighbours, friends, community and business leaders who come together to celebrate diverse perspectives and create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. In District 7070, there are 54 Rotary Clubs with over 2000 Rotarians who live, work and give in southern Ontario from Etobicoke in the west to Belleville/Picton in the east and as far north as Alliston. Who can you find at our district conference? Between people attend the District 7070 Conference each year. They include Rotarians their spouses and partners. Those attending also include Rotaractors. Rotaract brings together young adults, ages 18-30, to take action in their communities, develop their leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Rotary clubs sponsor them, but Rotaract members manage and fund their clubs independently. The five Rotaract Clubs in District 7070 represent about 200 members. You and your organization have magnificent potential to highlight your product or service to an engaged group of Rotarians through sponsorship opportunities. Rev Up Rotary! 3 The Ride of Your Life: 1 ONLY A $5000 Give. Hear the rumble of the road. Select this sponsorship level and your company will be engaged, riding a long way with us. Here s what you will receive: Title Sponsor for the entire conference - unique presence negotiated by you. (We have some idea s to help!) Your representative will present from the stage your product/company at both the Friday night reception and at the Saturday gala dinner. (5 minutes each night) Dedicated presence at in the 3R Hub where Rotarians mingle to Re-ignite, Re-charge and Re-imagine. You will be advertised in any material produced including a link to your web site from the home page of our District 7070 web site for an entire year. Recognition in our whole social media platform. You will be noted in the electronic displays in front of the session audiences for the entire weekend. Up to a 2 minute video/commercial can be included. Facebook and twitter feeds, prior, during and following the conference along with any other social media avenues used. (We re looking at creating an app just for the conference) You will have the opportunity to display banners (provided by you) in prominent areas of the conference.
