Year End Showcase: June 1-2, It s almost our favourite time of year... SHOWCASE! Thank you in advance to all parents, volunteers and teachers for helping to create a positive environment for our students. Our goal is to provide our students with a memorable stage experience. Save the date, this years showcase is June 1-2,. Don t forget to smile and have fun! Showcase tickets will be available for purchase on April 6th at 9:00 am. They will be sold exclusively ONLINE this year. Please go to to purchase your tickets. Tickets are reserved seating and first come, first served so be sure to purchase yours early! Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Congratulations Competitive Dancers Congratulations to our Competitive Team on an amazing Showcase. We look forward to seeing you all shine on stage at Competition this year. You should all be very proud of yourselves - your teachers certainly are!

2 Advertising & Scholarship Program We are once again accepting advertising applications for the program, which is handed out at our Year End Showcase. Advertising funds go towards printing the program, roses and awards for the dancers, and much more. We are also looking for Scholarship donations - scholarship funds go directly towards sponsoring a dancer in one area such as: Leadership, Attendance, Most Improved, and more. Scholarship donations guarantee your logo a spot in the centerfold of the program along with the award. If you are interested in advertising in our program or sponsoring an award, please us at wcsopaoffice@gmail.com. The deadline for advertisement and logo submissions is May 1st, so please be sure to contact us soon! We look forward to working with you this year. Dress Rehearsals: May 31 - June 1 Location: Ron Maslin Playhouse (Kanata). Please note, auditorium will be closed to spectators. Rehearsal Schedule: Friday May 31, arrive at 5:00 pm (Saturday Show) Saturday June 1, arrive at 9:30 am (Sunday Show) Showcase: June 1-2 Location: Ron Maslin Playhouse (Kanata). Please arrive 1 hour prior to show time. Arrive at 5:00 pm on Saturday night and 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. Front doors open 1 hour prior to show time. Auditorium opens 30 mins prior to show time. Please no photography, videotaping, food or beverages in the auditorium. APR Closed: Happy Easter MAY Last Day of Classes WCSOPA will be closed for Easter April 19-22,. We hope you enjoy your holiday. 7 May 7, is the last day of classes before our rehearsals start in preparation for our 18th Annual Year End Showcase. 3 Competitive Team Auditions Musical Theatre June 18th Hip Hop June 20th Contemporary June 24th WCSOPA s workshop-style Competitive Team auditions will be held in multiple different styles. Choose your favourite style, try something new, or attend all 3! You must attend at least one of these auditions to be considered for the Competitive Team. Register online only to ensure your spot at: Audition times: 5:00-5:45 Ages 4/5 5:45-6:30- Ages 6/7 6:30-7:15- ages :15-8:00- Ages :00-8:45- Ages 13+ All are welcome!
