5 Parent Workshop Grades 3-5 LET'S TALK SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT & PUBERTY! MCKINLEY AUDITORIUM MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27 8:45-10:00 AM Mc Kinley's school counselor, Hazel Tercero, LCSW, and school nurse, Priscilla Guzman, BSN, RN, will be holding a parent workshop to discuss the physical and social-emotional changes children can experience as they approach puberty. The school counselor and nurse will provide parents with resources and tools that parents can use to help their children (and themselves!) navigate upcoming developmental changes. The material will be specific to parents of children ages 8-10 years old but all are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Hazel Tercero, Ext Spanish transla tion will be provided!
