Gymnastics For Fun (GFF) League; This league was created by Kids In Motion, for its team members who are not yet ready or not interested in competing in away competitions (meets). K.I.M. holds three to four, in-house, competitions. Gymnasts are judged against a scale and not each other. This allows the gymnasts to be rewarded for their efforts and not on a curve. This is a positive, selfmotivating form of competition. Participation in this league is required for all team members. 2. Metro Gymnastics Meets (MGM) League; This St. Louis based league, is governed by AAU gymnastics. The league meets are held in Missouri. The Regional meet and Championships meet is held at a different location TBD each season out of state. USA-gymnastics judges officiate these meets. These meets are positive and motivating. Gymnasts compete and are ranked against each other. This league allows healthy competition through a positive format. This league also allows the experience of competing in state, regional and national level competitions all over the United States. Must commit to the required team practice schedule, per level, below; a) GFF League (all levels) 1 day commitment (competes at GFF meets only) b) MGM League (Silver/Gold) 2 day commitment minimum (competes in both GFF and MGM) c) MGM League (Platinum) 3 day commitment minimum (competes in both GFF and MGM) Twelve month program commitment, May thru April. Team members who fail to attend the mandatory class days and times, on a recurring basis, will be asked to reconsider their team placement.
