2 October 2017 Page 2 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Hi Everyone, The Corral needs your help! Our Election Meeting is November 16th, and we still have vacant positions for Secretary and Scribe. We only have 6 meetings a year, and there's never a dull moment at our meetings! Please volunteer if you can. Due to a low turn out, Mt. Pinos was cancelled. It takes a lot of work to plan and pre-ride the trails. If we don't get enough people to come out on the rides, we'll have to cancel the ride. Please confirm with the trail boss directly to RSVP for a ride so they know you are coming, not just on Facebook. All that being said, we only have a few exciting rides and events left for the year. We want to make each a ride a success, so please make an extra effort to attend as many rides as possible before the end of the year. October 12th is our annual trail plan meeting at the Smarts. This is an important meeting where we plan the rides/events for the whole year! So Please join us and bring your ideas for rides/events that you would like to have for Dinner and drinks will be provided by the Corral. Oct. 20th-22nd we ll have our weekend ride at Sage Hill. Look for the flyer in the bulletin! November 19th is our lunch ride at Le Chene. For those of you that have never been to Le Chene, the food is amazing! Please look out for the flyer to follow. We will be having our Election Meeting November 16th at Mi Casitas!! Please come out and join us. December 2nd is our Christmas party at the Smarts! Our silent auction was so much fun last year, we decided to do it again this year! As always, your input for fun ideas is not only encouraged but very much welcomed. This is a closed party for Corral 22 Associate/Full members and one guest. December 17th is Corral 22's famous Christmas Ride in Griffith Park (flyer to follow)! I want to thank all members of ETI for all your volunteer work. Happy Trails, Kat General Meeting Our Election Meeting will be: Thursday November 19th The location will be at: Mi Casitas 8069 Foothill Blvd, Sunland Dinner at 6PM. Meeting starts at 7PM Free dinner to the member who brings the most guests to the meeting!
3 October 2017 Page 3 WHAT S NEW IN 22 News:. Throwback Challenge! We'd like to see older pictures of our members at previous C22 rides/ events. Please send your throwback photos. The Scribe / Secretary position is still vacant. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer for this position. Our meetings are held every other month (only 6 times a year). For additional information on rides, please visit our website or like us on Facebook 'ETI Corral 22. Brags:. Tom and Kat Smart bought a new living quarters trailer, congratulations! Corey Hallmark has a new horse! We look forward to seeing you two on the trail! Information needed: Have you heard from these people?
