2 Hello Everyone: I want to welcome you to the Autumn Edition of our e-magazine. It is with great pleasure I present to you the wonderfully talented kids who put so much effort into this magazine. With that being said, our past BKPA Event was a great success. The Summer 2006 Picnic was a blast! It had fun games [water balloon fight, freeze dance], great food [mmm..yum], and a summer day well spent. I want to thank all those who put their efforts in creating a wonderful Summer 2006 Picnic. Our next upcoming event is on November 4th, 2006 for the occasion of Bijoya. It will be filled with fun cultural performances, including a classical Bengali play. Also, on November 4th we will be holding our 'Annual Can Drive'. Hope everyone can bring in two cannedgood items, and hope to see you all there! 3 Essay by Tori Today was my first day at school. I brought my lavender scented bear, called cinnamon, to the first grade class of Mrs. Johnston. No one in class seemed to like the smell of my cinnamon Summer was fun. We went to Paris, it was beautiful! We jumped on our beds in the hotel room. I fed the pigeons, they came so close, I could touch them. There was a lady with a pigeon in the park; she let us pet her pet pigeon. The Eiffel Tower was so tall! We climbed up to the second floor. I liked it when it sparkled at night. We went on boat rides, restaurants we had lots of ice cream, the French call it glaze, We saw the Hunchback s home the church. We saw hula dancers. At the Jardin des Tuileries fair, Puloma and I ate a humungous cotton candy. We went on many rides. I won a prize in a game. It was a tiny water pool with plastic duckies, I had a fishing rod that I had to catch them with and put them in a bucket. My prize was a toy gun, with cracker bullets inside. I gave it to Peter for a present in Germany, because they would not let me bring it in the airplane

5 My Stuffed Animal s Brothers By Ankush Baby Lion has two brothers. One is Good Wuffy. The other is Ac. Ac is the oldest of the three. Next comes Good Wuffy. Last but not least comes Baby Lion. Baby Lion and Good Wuffy have traveled to many different places. They went to India. They went to New York and Washington. They got a couple of things. Right now they are at home. Ac likes home a lot but still goes outside. Ac is white and wears blue clothes. He has black and green eyes. He has a pink nose. Good Wuffy is black and brown. He has black eyes and a black nose. A Day In September By Shounak My sister is playing with her toys in the room next to mine. Cars are swishing down the street at top speed. I can hear the children playing games outside. The birds outside my window are chirping merrily. A nice warm breeze is coming in from my window. I can see bushels of wheat in the distance, waiting to be harvested. I can hear my grandpa laughing with my sister. My mom is making her tea in the microwave. There is a steady hammering outside, breaking the silence. I can hear the leaves of the tree being gently ruffled by the wind. Once in a while I can hear an airplane flying over. Someone opens my door my door hanger gently bangs against it. The sky is as clear as crystal. White cotton puffed clouds are sailing across the sky. As the sun shines its beautiful rays of light, the world is lit up in joy.!! # $!%!! &&&&&'!!!!&&! The colors of the leaves are Red, orange, yellow, and brown. Evergreen trees stay the color green. Most of these are the colors in town. Lots of animals are gathering food Hibernation is coming soon.
