School WILL be in session on this day. ü 20 th 24 th Paper Product Drive to benefit the Synergy Center ü 21 st 8 th grade parent orientation with SWHS (6pm in auditorium) ü 24 th 8 th grade registration cards due for SWHS ü 24 th GT Leadership Day at SWHS FROM THE YOUTH SERVICES CENTER Regina Powell, YSC Coordinator VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE REALITY STORE: The SWMS Reality Store will be here on March 30th for all 8th grade students. This is an active, hands-on, real-life simulation which gives students a chance to explore career opportunities. Students also make lifestyle and budget choices, similar to those adults face on a daily basis. Participants assume that they are 28 years old and have an occupation. Students then draw a family situation, and it is their responsibility to be the sole provider for their family. They receive a monthly "paycheck" and make monthly payments at each of the booths set up at the Reality Store. We need multiple volunteers for this event. If you are interested in participating with us, please contact the YSC at BABYSITTER TRAINING: The YSC is partnering with the Medical Center to offer a Babysitter Training on March 22nd and 23rd in the YSC from 2:30-4:30. Space is limited and spots go quickly! If your child is interested in participating in this year's Babysitter Training, please contact Mrs. Powell at PAPER PRODUCT DRIVE NEXT WEEK: The SWMS Leadership Students and the Youth Services Center are hosting a paper products drive to benefit the Warren County Schools Synergy Center. Donations will be collected before school next week in front of the main staircase. More information is found on the flyer on the next page. Contact Mrs. Powell with any questions.
