3 SHOW RULES 1. This show will be conforming to all ARBA show rules. 2. There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed at the show grounds. 3. No Parking on Grass 4. Parents you are responsible for your children. Please keep an eye on their whereabouts and activities. Parents will be liable for damages. 5. No breeding of rabbits in the showroom. 6. CPaRBA, Tri-Co RCoPa, Raystown Rabbit Ranchers and Thundering Hoofbeats will not be responsible in case of fire, theft or providential loss. 7. Showroom opens at 7:00am 8. All changes in your entry must be done by 8:30am for the first show. 9. All stock must be in showroom by 8:00am. Judging starts at 9:00am. 10. Any animals showing signs of disease will be removed from the showroom and entry fee forfeited. 11. This is a carry cage show. Carriers must have a leak-proof bottom. 12. Judging will be done by private ear number. All animals must have permanent and legible earmarks according to the ARBA rules. 13. Any exhibitor attempting to or actually interfering with, annoying, influencing or changing the show order of breeds to be judged by a judge will be ejected and barred from the show with their entry fee forfeited. Only the Superintendent can make changes to the order of and the breed that the judges will judge for the show. 14. There will be no changes made to the paper work at the judging table without the consent of the show secretary. 15. Any additional rules will be posted in the showroom. 16. CPaRBA, Tri-Co RCoPa, Raystown Rabbit Ranchers and Thundering Hoofbeats are not responsible for any animals left in the showroom overnight on Saturday October 7, CPaRBA, Tri-Co RCoPa, Raystown Rabbit Ranchers, Thundering Hoofbeats and Judges will not be liable for injury to any rabbit. 18. Any returned checks will have a $25.00 service charge and the exhibitor will have their name removed from all show reports. We will not expect any entries for any of our shows until the check has been reconciled. 19. Awards will be given out for BOB and BOS sanctioned breeds listed providing there are 10 or more animals shown in the breed. 20. Awards will be provided for BIS, 1 st RIS and 2 nd RIS in open and youth. 21. All awards must be picked up the day of show. No awards will be mailed. 22. Placement ribbons will be given for the first three places. 23. Breeds with less than 10 rabbits will not be sanctioned for the next show unless sponsored. 24. The ARBA host club has reserved the right to refuse entries from all locations within 150 miles which has had a confirmed outbreak of RCD/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline. 25. Youth exhibitor do not have to carry their own animals to the show table but a youth must put them on the table. Accommodations Motel Super S. 6 Youth Rabbit Showmanship Contest Rules and Regulations: 1. The participant may use any rabbit they choose, so long as it was raised and trained by the youth. 2. Basis for judging showmanship is based on grooming and training of the rabbit and the appearance and behavior of the exhibitor. 3. The exhibitor must vocally explain the steps in their routine and the merit of the rabbit. Primarily showmanship is the skill of the exhibitor in presenting and explaining the rabbit before the judge. The excellence of the rabbit is not considered in scoring. The judge may or may not ask questions of the exhibitor at the close of the routine. 4. The judge will be using the recognized ARBA showmanship score sheet. Proper attire (which includes a long sleeve shirt) must be followed. 5. All showmanship participants must go to the Showmanship Table and check-in by 9:00 A.M 6. Pre-registration deadline is September 30, 2017 no fee if pre-entered 7. Day-of entries will also be accepted at $1.00 per exhibitor as long as they are submitted before 9:00 A.M. Awards: 1. The first place in will receive an award in each age division. 2. Ribbons will be awarded to each age category as well as participation ribbons. 3. There will be a Grand Champion Showman and Reserve Grand Champion Showman chosen from the winners of each age division.
