Students will discuss in their classes what character means and the History of Red Ribbon Week Remembering Enrique Camarena (counselor will provide information) Students and staff will hold hands as they walk around the campus at a specified time and shout out We re drug-free at Austin Elementary! Bring in your can food items this week to benefit the Ronald McDonald House, Sign Classroom Pledge Cards, Wear Red CROCKETT CROCKETT BEARS STAND UNITED AGAINST BULLYING AND DRUGS Students and teachers will wear their favorite team shirt DISHMAN My Future is Bright, No Drugs in Sight Wear bright/neon colors & sunglasses. K9 Officer will provide a demonstration Students will sign a light-bulb cutout that will be distributed to their classrooms pledging to be drug-free. Homeroom classes:decorate your door in honor of being Drug Free Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 doors You Only Live Once- YOLO Wear Red and commit to be drug free. Story of Kiki Camarena will be read during advisory period.
