1 Senior Activities Phone: (559) Family Fun & Community Events Sixth Annual National Senior Health and Fitness Day The City of Lemoore Community Services Department will hold their sixth annual event on Wednesday, May 24th from 8 AM to 11 AM at the Recreation Center. Seniors can take advantage of health screenings, participate in Senior exercise demonstrations such as Yoga, Jazzercise and chair stretching. There will be a breakfast and giveaways. This is a free event. s 55 and up FREE 8 11 AM Date Wednesday, May 24 Lemoore Recreation Center Sweets with Seniors Celebrate the season with us by enjoying a free breakfast and Holiday treats. This event is hosted by the American Legion, West Hills Culinary and Lemoore Community Services. Community Yard Sale The Lemoore Volunteers in Policing will be hosting Community Yard Sales at City Park in Lemoore on the first Saturday of each month beginning in March and running through October. Hours are 7 AM to 1 PM. Vendor spaces are $15. Vendors can register at the Recreation Department located at 721 W. Cinnamon Dr. No yard sale on 4th of July weekend Senior Dances The Lemoore Community Services Department will host a Senior Dance for ages 50 and up every three months. These dances will feature the Bobby Seals Band. There is a potluck dinner, so bring your favorite dish. This event is getting so big that we have moved the location to the Recreation Center. Lemoore Lions Easter Egg Hunt Free Easter egg hunt for children two to twelve years. Please bring an Easter basket for your child to fill with eggs. Plenty of candy and fun. PLUS special prizes in select Easter eggs! Over 20,000 eggs provided by South Valley Community Church. Professional DJ, light shows, dance contests and a game room make these dances one of the most popular events offered by our department. All dances are lock-in children are not permitted to leave the dance until the dance is over. No gang affiliated clothing. School ID is required for all dances. A concession stand is available with items ranging in cost from 50 to $1.50. Club 34-3rd and 4th grade Let your third and fourth grader enjoy a night out in a safe and fun environment. DJ Crazy Craig will entertain your little ones with games, their favorite music and group dances.
