Not to exceed a total of $4, Jennifer Milbauer, Outreach Committee Chair Description: In continuing with the replacement of outreach items that were once in the possession of the PRNC, but have been lost, stolen or misplaced I propose the PRNC approve the purchase of the following items: 1. Pop-Up / EZ Up Tent (which will say have our logo & city seal) to be used at Events which are sponsored or held by the PRNC. This includes necessary accessories & is an almost identical replacement of the one that was ordered in 7/2014 which is no longer in the possession of the PRNC. Not to exceed $2, Volunteer Name Tags to be used at our events so that stakeholders will know who is a volunteer and who is a board member. This is important for many reasons, mainly so that stakeholders will know who s who. Many people at the December Holiday Event were confused & thought that some of the Outreach volunteers were actually PRNC board members. Additionally, the generic Volunteer name tag (with our logo on there as well,) can be re-used multiple times. We would check them out for events and ask people to return them before they left. Not to exceed $500 ($20 / badge) promotional tee-shirts that say I *heart* Porter Ranch (using an actual heart symbol.) These shirts would be given to volunteers who work events which the PRNC hosts or sponsors, or given out at events to the community. These promotional items would boost stakeholder morale & PRNC viability in the community. Not to exceed $ ($4.99 / per tee + setup fee $25 & tax) promotional hats that say I *heart* PR (using an actual heart symbol.) These shirts would be given to volunteers who work events which the PRNC hosts or sponsors (i.e., the upcoming Earth Day event which Beautification & Outreach are proposing.) These promotional items would boost stakeholder morale. Not to exceed $800 ($7 / per hat + tax) 5. Zip Ties for Banners. 200 Zip Ties to hold up the banners at events.
