6 Cheer Duo Scoring Guidelines Difficulty Standing Tumble Difficulty Low 1 3 Each athlete performs one level appropriate standing tumble skill Medium 4 6 Each athlete performs two level appropriate standing tumble skills, one of which is synchronised High 7 10 Each athlete performs three level appropriate standing tumble skills, one of which is synchronised Running Tumble Difficulty Low 1 3 Each athlete performs one level appropriate running tumble skill Medium 4 6 Each athlete performs two level appropriate running tumble skills, one of which is synchronised High 7 10 Each athlete performs three level appropriate running tumble skills, one of which is synchronised Jump Difficulty Low 1 3 Each athlete performs two or fewer connected advanced jumps Medium 4 6 Each athlete performs three synchronised connected advanced jumps High 7 10 Each athlete performs four connected, or three synchronised connected + one advanced jump Dance Difficulty Low 1 3 Minimal footwork, level & formation changes. 9 Stunt Group Scoring Guidelines Difficulty Stunt Difficulty Stunt difficulty will be awarded as 2 points per level appropriate skill. Non level appropriate skills will not be counted towards stunt difficulty, but can be considered for stunt creativity. Identical skills will not be counted twice, however variations of the same skill can be counted twice, e.g. tick tock from lib to lib position and tick tocks from lib to heel stretch position are different variations. Toss Difficulty Low 1 3 One level appropriate toss Medium 4 6 Two basic level appropriate tosses High 7 10 Two level appropriate tosses, one of which is NOT on the list below. Level 2: Straight ride with no arm motions Level 3: Toe touch, basic full twist, pike Level 4: kick full, double twist Level 5: kick double Body Position Difficulty Clarification 1: Lib and platform positions are not considered body positions Clarification 2: A level appropriate 2 foot stunt is considered a body position for levels 1 2 Low 1 3 Two or fewer different body positions Medium 4 6 Three different body positions High 7 10 Four different body positions Execution 8
10 Execution scores for stunt categories are scored from 1 20 Low 1 6 Below average technique, form and execution Medium 4 12 Average technique, form and execution High Above average technique, form and execution Execution scores for toss and body position categories are scored from 1 10 Low 1 3 Below average technique, form and execution Medium 4 6 Average technique, form and execution High 7 10 Above average technique, form and execution Deductions Bobble 0.5 points Clear break in body position from top person Minor fall 1 point Uncontrolled cradling, dismounting or lowering a building skill (not timing issues). Base or spotter falling to the floor during a building skill Major Fall 2 points Falls from an individual stunt, pyramid, or toss to the floor (top person lands on floor or multiple bases/spotters land on floor) Legality 3 points Out of level skill 9
