With the verwhelming respnse t this event, we anticipate ver 900 teams will travel t Orland t cmpete. We suggest yu make a cpy f this letter and give it t every team member t take hme t their family. 1. Registratin/Check In Yu will register with the Varsity Staff at the ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cmplex. The Varsity Registratin tent is lcated at the frnt f the cmplex beside the circle drive. Yu will receive all tickets, schedules and participant/caches lanyards as well as ther pertinent infrmatin cncerning the event. Registratin hurs at the ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cmplex are: Tuesday, April 26 th 2016 Wednesday, April 27 th, 2016 Thursday, April 28 th, 2016 Friday, April 29 th, :00 AM 8:00 PM 8:00 AM- 10:00 PM 8:00 AM- Midnight 8:00 AM- Midnight **Parents, if yu registered yur athlete(s) separately and yu arrive withut having turned in the frm fr yur athlete r dn't have this Liability/Release Waiver frm with the riginal signature in hand yu will nt be able t pick up any Disney tickets r lanyards fr the cmpetitin until it is turned in. 2 3. Event Schedule and Perfrmance Order The event schedule and rder f cmpetitin is available n varsityallstar.cm. This schedule is still tentative and will change slightly. Yu will receive a final and detailed schedule nce yu arrive in Orland. 4. Cheer Perfrmance Order and Scring The Wildcard rund f cmpetitin will take place Friday, April 29th in the Hp Fieldhuse, the J Center and the ESPN Sprtscenter Suth Arena. All teams wh place 1st in their divisin in Friday's Prelims will advance t Sunday's Finals Rund and all secnd place teams will advance t Saturday's Semi-Finals. Each team will cmpete Saturday, April 30th and their final scres frm that day will determine if they advance t Finals. All finalists will be annunced in the ESPN Sprtscenter Pavilin with the exceptin f the final divisins in each venue. Saturday's rder f cmpetitin was randmly drawn in ur ffice. Sunday's perfrmance rder will be the reverse rder f ranking frm Saturday fr thse teams wh make it t Finals. Saturday's perfrmance will be cnsidered the semifinal rund f each divisin. Each team s reveal will begin apprximately 30 minutes t tw and a half hurs after their divisin is cmpleted. The Summit reveals fr all dance categries will be held in the Wrld Shwplace Pavilin at Epct immediately fllwing each categry. The fllwing will be the breakdwn f hw many teams will advance frm Day 1 t Day 2 with the exceptin f the Wild Card Winner in each divisin that will autmatically advance t Finals n Sunday: All divisins with 10 r less teams in Semi Finals will have 5 teams advance t finals All divisins with teams in Semi Finals will have 50% f the divisin advance t finals All divisins with 20 r mre teams in Semi Finals will have 10 teams in the divisin advance t finals 7. The Summit Cmpetitin Venues All rehearsals and cmpetitins fr Cheer will take place at the ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cmplex in the HP Field Huse, J Center, the ESPN SprtsCenter Arena Suth and the ESPN SprtsCenter Arena Nrth. All Dance cmpetitins will be held in the Wrld Shwplace Pavilin in Epct. The Walt Disney Wrld Park Hpper that yu receive with yur travel package includes 5 days admissin int the ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cmplex as well as theme park admissins. Everyne that attends the Dance Summit must use their park hpper t gain entrance int Epct. 8. Registratin & Ticket Pick-Up Infrmatin- Family and friends that DID NOT purchase a WDW Park Hpper thrugh Varsity may purchase a ne day admissin fr $30 at the ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts ticket bth the day f cmpetitin r a WDW ne day admissin at the frnt gate f Epct. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED FOR THOSE PURCHASING EXTRA TICKETS. Walt Disney Wrld buses DO NOT shuttle t Disney s Hllywd Studis this evening due t the park being clsed t the public.
