Being an upstander means a child takes positive action when he or she sees a friend or another student being bullied. Share how one person can make a difference. "When it's the kids who speak up, it's ten times more powerful than anything that we'll ever be able to do as an adult," says Walter Roberts, a professor of counsellor education and author of Working With Parents of Bullies and Victims. Report Repeated, Severe Bullying. If your child is reluctant to report the bullying, go with him to talk to a teacher, Year Head, school counsellor or the principal. Keep records by documenting instances of bullying. 5 I had fun when I was swimming. I learnt how to do the backstroke and the starfish! Emmelyne Ng 3P I had a fun experience. It was nice being in the same team as my friends. 7 I was so happy as Art is my favourite subject. I got to do it with my classmates! Goh Qing Er 3P It was interesting to convert a tissue box into a guitar. I had the chance to also help my friends. Yeu Jie Xi 3I I had fun. I was excited at the beginning. Mrs Ong taught me how to create a guitar. I had an enjoyable time. Vikas 3E Main Page I love doing Art with Mrs Ong. I felt happy as I had fun on that day! Shirhan Danial 3D Art & Music Fiesta 1 2 M a y I am proud of my class as we came in second for the Sports Carnival! It was so much fun! A isyah Khan 3E Sports Carnival During the Sports Carnival we came in 4th. However, we are still determined to win the next time! We kept on cheering for our friends even though we did not do well. 8 After coding, Ms Shreen allowed us to test the robot on the floor. My group won the sumo challenge. We were proud of our robot. Gabriel Sim 4E Intermediate Coding 13 Jan 2 4 F e b I was a bit annoyed because the robot went to our black shoe instead of the black line. We took off our shoes so that the robot would NOT be distracted! It was quite funny! Dinh Nhu Mai Melanie 4R The sumo challenge and line challenge were challenging and fun. Although my group didn't win, I was happy that we had a great time playing with the MoWay robot. Tran Minh Hieu Ben 4P Main Page The line challenge was challenging as I had a hard time getting my group members to work together and win it. Abdul Wafi 4E We did the mirror maze and it was very confusing. After a few minutes, we managed to solve it. I was glad my friends were there to support one another. Aidan 4P I felt quite satisfied as the robot would follow my orders. It would do anything we order them to do. I was quite amused! I hope I can create a similar robot in future. Wee Shi Han 4E There were many new attractions. I didn't know that there was an EcoGarden. I was excited as it looks so new! Jane Quek 4R The most challenging activity was the mirror maze. I was confused at first but my classmates helped me. I appreciated their help so much. Aarushi Sarda 4I Singapore 1 8 M a y

9 It was fun. I learnt new tricks such as the Bell where I skipped front and back. I also jumped over a lasso during the Cowboy movement. Nur Batrisyia 4D Rope skipping isawesome. It is one of the exercises to stay fit. I'm glad to get this opportunity! Claudia Loo 4P Rope Skipping 3 Mar 21 Apr 2017 I was super excited as we were going to learn different movements. One of the movements was Bell & Ski. I was successful in doing that movement. I am proud of myself. Alicia Ng 4R Skipping helps my legs become stronger. I have begun to love skipping. I skip at least 4 times a week now. Danish Faiz 4I Main Page I am proud of myself for putting in effort during the games. Even though the other classes did not win, I patted them on their back and said, It s ok. You can do better next time! Muhd Fayaz Ali 4P I was satisfied during the I didn't know that rope skipping could be so enjoyable. It was so fun especially doing it with my friends. We learnt many techniques for rope skipping. But it changed after our opponent came to us and praised us for doing a good job. It was true. We tried our best. We will try harder next term. Maheep 4I Inter-Class Games 7 Mar I felt quite excited before the inter-class game as it was the first time we were playing these games. Although I was not playing, I cheered for my team.
