4 Dear Co-workers, Senior Regent Message In order for our chapter to work, it has to be meaningful to our members and their families, so we can continue the success of our organization. Congratulations to Nadine Neswick for earning her Green Cap, she was honored at the convention in Reno. Also, the following women who have five or more members, Barbara Becker, Stacy Smith, Terri Johnson, Nadine Neswick and Cathi Fuller. A big thank you to: Jennifer Guzman, Cathi Fuller and their families for September and October, without your help these months would not have been successful. Please come to our monthly meetings on the 1st and 3 rd Thursday at 7 P.M. We look forward to all our exciting events...blanket and Coat drive, Turkey Dinner and Chili Colorado Dinner. Yours Fraternally, Christene Adams Senior Regent Hey now, Administrator s Message Hope everyone is doing well. Please be aware that Member Retention week runs from 11/01/15 to 11/07/15. This is the time to reinforce the benefits of being Moose members and bring down those members you have sponsored to show them a good time. Membership retention is an important part of strengthening our lodge and fraternity. It plays a big part in the success of our current local, state and international membership campaigns. Football is amongst us! We seem to have a well mixed fan base and a lively group of members that enjoy the games on. There are plenty of TV s in the social quarters so that all can enjoy the games. Come down and join the fun and remember we are all members of the lodge so keep it family friendly. Join us nights for darts and music. I d like to thank Prelate Rich Garcia who has been volunteering as our night DJ. He s doing a great job to liven up the night. Look for his posts on Facebook for updates. I ve noticed there are friendly shuffle board games going on daily and I know we have a poker night at least once a month. We always have Friday night meals,, Monday night dinners and Saturday functions. There is plenty for you as members to get involved in. We also have many fundraising projects going on during these last few months of the year. So far, we ve donated to Special Olympics, Moose Olympics and The American Cancer Society to name a few. Current fundraising is for Safe Surfing, The Cradle Fund and the Boy s and Girl s Club. Our annual Toys for Tots dinner is coming up. This is one of our larger fundraising events and it is a good time for everyone to show their support towards our efforts. We ll end the year as usual with a fun New Year s ve party. Hi Brothers and Coworkers, Governor s Message I can t believe its November already and the holidays are just around the corner. This year has flew by. We had some great functions over the summer. I would like to thank everyone that helped out with the Luau, and Long Ranch for their help obtaining the pig. Ray did an outstanding job again putting on the golf tournament. I would like to thank everyone that attended. Tony's Texas Hold m have been a hit. We did a good job raising money for Special Olympics, let s keep the momentum going. There is a jar behind the bar to help raise money for our latest community fund raiser. As Thanksgiving is approaching let s remember all the things we have to be thankful for.
