Harrison January 16 Wedding Anniversaries I don t know what it is about ringing a Salvation Army bell that brings out the Spirit of Christmas in me. I get the whole Jimmy Stewart movie It s a Wonderful Life where every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings. In which case, on Saturday, December 12, 2017, the Rotary Club of Jasper certainly helped award a lot of wings. Jeff D. Snell 2018 Club On-To Conference Chair Personally, I receive so much more than I give from doing from this service that I should pay them for the privilege. Seeing parents and grandparents teaching young children our American tradition of generous giving renews my faith in our people and gives me hope for our future. One Grandmother wanted a picture of her two lovely young granddaughters standing next to the Salvation Army Red Kettle. I took that picture and let the girls ring the bell. Kodak Moment! Robert Jones Membership Chair Phillip Chad Jones Membership Chair Jimmy Thompson Club Programs Chair Robert L. Payne Vocational Service Chair Todd Payne Vocational Service Chair The Rotary Club of Jasper meets most Wednesdays at 12:00 noon at Chattahoochee Technical College. Our weekly program includes lunch and speakers who discuss a wide variety of topics that broaden our knowledge of issues within our local and global communities. We do this while enjoying the fellowship of other business and community leaders from Jasper, Pickens County, and beyond. As one of 34,000 clubs worldwide, we are People of Action who practice Service Above Self. If you have a desire to give back to our community, we invite you to visit and have lunch with us at any meeting. Contact us at or

3 Rotary Christmas Dinner By Steve Lawrence Rotary Christmas Dinner On December 11, 2017 the Rotary Club of Jasper, members, spouses and guests enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner, catered by Chris McKinnish and his staff at A Taste of Joy. Held at Chattahoochee Tech, AG Don Martin and Club Admin Chair Ben Laughlin set the stage with decorations and ornaments that created a festive Christmas atmosphere. Local entertainers Bay Cagle and Eric Reinhardt provided the nights entertainment by singing traditional Christmas songs.

4 Christmas songs, tasty food, great company! That s a combination guaranteed to brings smiles and laughter to Jasper Rotairians.
