Our weekly program includes lunch and speakers who discuss a wide variety of topics that broaden our knowledge of issues within our local and global communities. We do this while enjoying the fellowship of other business and community leaders from Jasper, Pickens County, and beyond. 3 Rotary Christmas Dinner By Steve Lawrence Rotary Christmas Dinner On December 11, 2017 the Rotary Club of Jasper, members, spouses and guests enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner, catered by Chris McKinnish and his staff at A Taste of Joy. Held at Chattahoochee Tech, AG Don Martin and Club Admin Chair Ben Laughlin set the stage with decorations and ornaments that created a festive Christmas atmosphere. Local entertainers Bay Cagle and Eric Reinhardt provided the nights entertainment by singing traditional Christmas songs.

Christmas for the Hope House Kids By Kay Lawrence We are collecting Christmas presents, clothing, art supplies and tickets for family events for the kids at The Hope House again this year. Our collection of gifts and clothing last year was amazing. Let's do it again! You may also donate money if you want and we will take care of the shopping for you. We will have a collection box every week at Rotary. Here are the details on the kids and what they would like to have: 13 year old boy size shirts size pants size 5 shoes wants football, basketball, Nerf guns, remote control cars, X box 360 games

5 7 year old boy size shoes Loves lego sets and Batman 13 year old boy size men's medium shirts and pants shoes men's 10 wants football, basketball, Nerf guns, remote control cars, Xbox 360 games 19 month old boy Clothing size 24 months or 2 Toddler shoe size 6 Loves Paw Patrol and Thomas the Train 9 year old girl Clothing size 7/8 Shoe size 2 9 year old girl Clothing size Shoe size 5 8 year old girl Clothing size 7/8 Shoe size 1 1/2 Girls want clothes, shoes, jewelry and art kits. All would like to have a Fuji instant camera (like the old Polaroids that develop the picture instantly) and film They are asking for movie tickets or gift cards to places to take the kids to eat. We could also sponsor them to take the kids to the aquarium, the zoo or bowling. They may have 2 additional kids coming in...not sure yet. Please bring items to Rotary or to Renasant Bank in Jasper and leave with Kay. Violet will pick up the items at Renasant Bank on December 15th.
