1 Concert Day Information ISSUE 2 Welcome to the annual Dynamite Premiere Academy Concert 2017 on Saturday 25 th November at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose. This year, we will have two performances: Concert Day and Dress Rehearsal on Saturday 25 th November at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose: Dress Rehearsal at Theatre: Commencing at 8.30am schedule attached. Performance pm MATINEE PERFORMANCE - FULL CAST (duration approx 2 hrs 30mins plus 10 min interval) Performance pm EVENING PERFORMANCE - FULL CAST (duration approx 3 hrs plus 10 min interval includes speeches and awards) If you are uncertain about the concert day, please us at info@dynamitepa.com.au or call us at so that we may answer your queries. The teachers have a limited time to answer all individual questions due to time constraints. If you have a problem on concert day, send us a message through Facebook or us as we will be un-contactable by phone. PLEASE NOTE: This is our first draft, there may be some minor adjustments. We will notify you if there are any changes. DRESS REHEARSALS from 8.30am at theatre. Children to arrive half an hour before their allocated time for dress rehearsal. They must arrive fully dressed in costume, hair and makeup. See timetable. Children will be taken to their dressing rooms by DPA staff and looked after by Staff and Parent Helpers DPA Staff will bring children down the stairs near the loading dock (located outside near stage door) at allocated time of collection. Please do not come up these stairs. Gates will be locked. MATINEE PERFORMANCE 2PM All children involved in Junior/Senior Ballet must arrive at 1.00pm fully dressed and ready to go on stage. All children who are NOT involved in Junior/Senior Ballet must arrive at 2.00pm fully dressed and ready to go on stage. Children will be taken to their dressing rooms by DPA Staff and looked after by Staff and Parent Helpers. If your child is only in Junior Ballet they may be collected at interval provided we have received a permission slip by 12 th November. These will be handed out in class or rehearsals. If you have not supplied this to us, your child must remain back stage for the duration of the concert for safety reasons. The pick-up time will be approximately 3.20pm. The children need to be picked up from the loading dock outside the theatre. Please wait at bottom of stairs. Gates will be locked.

2 EVENING PERFORMANCE 5.30PM All children involved in Junior/Senior Ballet must arrive at 4.30pm fully dressed and ready to go on stage. All children who are NOT involved in Junior/Senior Ballet must arrive at 5.30pm fully dressed and ready to go on stage. Children will be taken to their dressing rooms by DPA Staff and looked after by Staff and Parent Helpers. If your child is only in Junior Ballet they may be collected at interval provided we have received a permission slip by 12 th November. These will be handed out in class or rehearsals. If you have not supplied this to us, your child must remain back stage for the duration of the concert for safety reasons. The pick-up time will be approximately 6.50pm. The children need to be picked up from the loading dock outside the theatre. Please wait at bottom of stairs. We anticipate that the evening performance will conclude at approximately 8.30pm. The night performance will run a little longer as we will have speeches/presentations at the end of the performance. 4 BREAK 2PM MATINEE PERFORMANCE All Junior Ballet Performers to be back at theatre at 1.00pm Senior ballet performers to stay at the theatre or be back by 1.15pm if not in performance groups. Please do not get up out of your seats during the acts. We have designated times for collection and we want all our students to feel the energy and love from our supportive audience. GENERAL INFORMATION Older students are welcome to stay at the theatre for the entire day. The pick-up time listed above is provided for younger students. However, if they wish to stay they will be supervised backstage by DPA Staff and Parent Helpers. Please ensure that they have plenty of food and drink to last them all day. You must give your child permission to go across the road to the shopping centre: Permission slip below ONLY REGISTERED PARENT HELPERS ARE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE, THIS INCLUDES DROP OFF. PLEASE BE READY TO DROP YOUR CHILD AT STAGE DOOR IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED HELPER. WE CANNOT HAVE UNREGISTERED PEOPLE BACKSTAGE FOR SAFETY REASONS. All items must be bought to theatre. Hairspray, pins, hairnets, gel, comb, brush, makeup, hair elastics (same colour as hair) DPA DOES NOT SUPPLY ANY OF THE ITEMS ABOVEMENTIONED. Makeup consists of brown (only) eye shadows (no pink or blue please), foundation, pink blush, black mascara and RED lipstick for all dances. Every student must wear make-up, as the lights are so bright, makeup enhances your child s features and you will be able to see them clearly. Programs will be available for sale on the day. A great memento. Online high definition concert footage or dvds must be pre-ordered (refer to website concert page for order form link) Raffle tickets will be sold in the foyer. No Jewellery of any kind to be worn, this is for the safety of all students!! and no make-up to be shared.

5 Permission slip I hereby give my child permission to leave Glen Street Theatre to go to Glenrose Shopping Centre. Signature
