1 INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION 1 E V E N T S
2 SPIRIT FEVER OPEN MARCH 2017 MORGES You will find here all the information to register your teams for the Spirit Fever Open MORGES Date March 25th 2017 Competition March 26th 2016 Camp Morges culture is very rich because the city lies in the center of an important economical and cultural area that covers the whole district and the villages surrounding it. The floral decorations of the city, especially during the tulip celebration gave Morges the nickname of Morges the coquette. Otherwise, the medieval past of the district of Morges explains why we can find so many ancient buildings, especially in the city-center. Location Salle omnisports du collège de Beausobre, Chemin de la Grosse-Pierre 1, 1110 Morges, Suisse Spirit Fever Open 2017 will apply the CCAS (Cheerleading and Cheerdance Association Switzerland) 2017 Rulebook. The CCAS 2017 Rulebook is based on the ECU/ICU rulebook with small changes for example about the ages and about the amount of participating athletes. The Spirit Fever Open Rulebook includes addition concerning the categories that doesn t exist in the CCAS 2017 Rulebook. 2

Any team from any country can win the bid. An «At Large Bid» allows you to be qualified for Worlds, but Spirit Fever is not required to contribute in any ways to your expenses to travel to Orlando. It is just a qualification that Spirit Fever is allowed to offer. However, please keep in mind that Spirit Fever will stay open to discuss sponsoring. Two «At Large Bid» awarded 1. Spirit Fever will award 1 «At Large Bid» to the winner of the Senior Dance Team Freestyle Pom 2. Spirit Fever will award 1 «At Large Bid» to the team with the highest score between these two categories Senior All Girl Cheer level 6 Senior Coed Cheer level 6 Additional information concerning Worlds bids The two «at large bid» winner teams have maximum 72 hours to confirm by that they accept the bid. With this, they confirm that they will compete at Worlds. If they decline the bid, or if they don t confirm their acceptance in the due time, according to the USASF rulebook, Spirit Fever has the right to select any other team that competed during the Spirit Fever Open in one of the Worlds categories, and has the right to give it the bid. Spirit Fever makes the commitment to give the bid to the second team who got the highest score. This means that all teams competing in these qualifying categories must have talked and decided with their team members and their parents about going to the Worlds in They must have decided prior going to the Spirit Fever Open if they would like to go to the 2018 Worlds if they win at the Spirit Fever Open. Going to the Worlds requires high expenses that you make the commitment to pay. In case of cancelation of your participation to Worlds after having accepted the bid, a fine of 500 CHF will be charged. One single team can t receive two bids for the USASF Worlds. Athletes competing in a dance category can t compete in a cheer category during Worlds, and vice versa. The winning team must compete at Worlds in the category they qualified in during the Spirit Fever Open (International Open Level 6 All Girl or International Open Coed Level 6 and Senior Dance Team Freestyle Pom). Teams can t have more athletes on the 2018 Worlds floor than they had on their routine during the Spirit Fever Open Also note that the USASF rulebook for the 2018 Worlds is not the same rulebook as the Spirit Fever Open Don t forget to adapt your routines when competing at Worlds. 4
