1 Preamble By participating in this, Greek Week 2010, we, the undersigned Chapter, have pledged to put aside any and all differences in order to better Greek Unity here at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). We have agreed to pledge ourselves to the ideals of scholarship, fellowship, and service through a fun, safe and engaging environment. It is our hope that by doing this, generations hereon will learn from our example and foster Greek unity through the same environment. Welcome Team Members! Greek Week will soon be here and we would like to express our thanks to all of your members who have given their own time to make Greek Week a success. This packet contains contacts, schedule of events, and rules. We hope this will be helpful in understanding all that Greek Week 2010 has to offer. Please encourage members of your chapter and team to get involved in as many events as possible. Many members of the Greek Community have put in a lot of time to make this week a great one. Participation is what is going to make Greek Week fun and exciting! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Office of Greek Affairs. Thank you again for your support, we hope you are ready for some fun. Sincerely, Alicia Bates, Graduate Assistant for Greek Affairs 1

2 Greek Week 2010 Expectations The purpose of Greek Week is to celebrate our values, traditions and to build unity in the Greek Community! Everyone that participates in these events is to be sober (i.e. NO using drugs or alcohol before or during an official Greek Week event). Failure to follow this rule will result in immediate team disqualification from that event. 3. The judges for the various events and/or the Greek Week committee and the Greek Advisor reserve the right to disqualify any Team that has (a) violated any of the expectations listed, and/or (b) put the safety or image of the NSU Greek Community and its members at risk. 4. All decisions made by the judges in all events are final. 5. Members will participate actively in the programs and opportunities offered. The Greek Week committee has worked hard to plan a fun and exciting week for everyone! 6. Members will be respectful and supportive of all chapters, members and teams participating in Greek Week. 7. Alumni may come to any of the Greek Week Events, but they may only watch. Alumni are not allowed to actively participate in any of the Greek Week events 8.
