3 Tickets: The Children s New York, New York (1:30pm Performance) Tickets are $6.00 (plus handling fees) for main floor reserved seating and $5.00 (plus handling fees) for balcony reserved seating. The Performance Matinee (3:30pm Performance) Reserved seating tickets are $7.00(plus handling fees). The Performance Matinee at 3:30pm will include the Dance Force Company, Jr. Rep, Repertory, and any competition soloist/duets that placed in the overall top 3! Coppelia & Motion41 Dance New York, New York (6:30pm Performance) Tickets are $9.00 (plus handling fees) for main floor reserved seating and $8.00 (plus handling fees) for balcony reserved seating. All show tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 10. Tickets can only be purchased online at or by calling tututix at *TICKETS AT THE DOOR: 1:30pm Show-$8.00 /3:30pm Show-$9.00 / 6:30pm Show-$12.00 Each dancer receives one free ticket redeemable by entering your personal code on the tututix.com website. You will receive your free ticket code when you pay your recital fee. You can purchase your tickets until Saturday, May 26 through tututix.com. After May 26, tickets will be sold by general admission at dress rehearsal from 4:00-7:00pm and in the theater lobby 45 minutes prior to show. IMPORTANT *Each student receives one free ticket. However, free tickets must be claimed through the tututix.com website before May 26. Free tickets WILL NOT be distributed the night of the show or at any of the dress rehearsals. NO EXCEPTIONS! *Individuals who purchase tickets to all 3 shows receive $4.00 off per person. See the Front Desk for details. T-shirts: The one of a kind Coppelia & Motion41 New York, New York t-shirts are available for purchase. Stop by the front desk to get an order form. The t-shirts are $ Payments can be made by check: payable to Motion41 Dance or cash. ORDERS ARE DUE BY APRIL 14th. Don t miss out! Video: To purchase a Motion41 Dance performance video fill out an order form available at the desk. Make checks payable to Dynamic Productions (checks only/no credit cards or cash.) Flowers: You may purchase flowers in the lobby of Westside High School the day of the show for your special dancer or pre-order using the form that is available at the front desk. Finale: At the end of each performance, we would like to invite all students participating in the recital to come on stage, including those sitting in the audience, to take pictures with family and friends. This would be an ideal time to give your special dancer flowers on stage. We hope all of you will enjoy this special FINALE. (2)

4 Below are important dates and times for costume week, studio dress rehearsals, and for dances that involve several classes that need to rehearse together prior to the recital. Please read carefully and mark your calendars! SATURDAY, MAY 12: 1:30-3:30pm Coppelia Rehearsal - ALL CAST MEMBERS Level B1-Ballet, Level B2-Ballet, Open Ballet (Sat), Level C- Ballet (Mon & Thurs), Level D- Ballet (Mon, Tues, Wed), Teen Ballet (Mon &Thurs) ALL DANCERS MAY 12-17: Costume Week All classes please wear recital costumes to class for an informal rehearsal of dances during regular scheduled class times. Come to class with hair and costumes NO MAKEUP! (Saturday classes please wear recital costumes to class on Saturday, May 12)! SATURDAY, MAY 19: In Studio Dress Rehearsal at Motion41 Dance Arrive at the studio 15 minutes prior to rehearsal in full costume, hair and makeup. Enter the through the Studio 3 outside glass door and sign in. The rehearsal will run in the show order. This will help with costume changes in the backstage area. No Clear Straps, PLEASE! *Young dancers with costume changes will be assigned a staff member or older dancer to help them change backstage. 6 SPACING REHEARSALS at Westside High School Auditorium WEDNESDAY, May 30 / THURSDAY, May 31 (These are closed rehearsals / only staff is permitted!) Spacing rehearsals help dancers understand where they are on the stage during a routine. What wings to enter/exit, line formations, etc. Spacing rehearsals are important for the dancer to be comfortable on stage and with their surroundings backstage. All DANCERS: Arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your rehearsal and enter the auditorium seating area. Dressing rooms will not be able during spacing rehearsals. Please bring activities, water, and nongreasy/messy snacks for your child to have if necessary. Check in at the lobby desk when you enter the building and then proceed to the auditorium. It is important that dancers not be late for their rehearsal time. If the dancer is late, we cannot guarantee that the dancer will be able to participate in their allotted time on stage. NOTE: No costumes, hair, or makeup is required for the spacing rehearsals on Wednesday or Thursday. After dancer's rehearsal: 1) Dancers proceed to lobby area for pick up. 2) Check out at lobby desk. 7 DRESS REHEARSALS AND SHOW ORDER at Westside High School Auditorium RECITAL DRESS REHEARSAL FRIDAY, June 1 (This is a closed rehearsal / only staff is permitted!) All DANCERS: Check in at the lobby desk when you enter the theater and then proceed to your designated dressing area backstage (Adults will use the cafeteria for dressing rooms, boys will be shown their dressing area backstage). It is important that dancers not be late for their rehearsal time. If the dancer is late, we cannot guarantee that the dancer will be able to participate in their allotted time on stage. CHILDREN S New York, New York : Dancers arrive at the auditorium in full costume, hair, and make-up at the ARRIVAL times posted below, sign in at the lobby desk and report to assigned classroom (Boys backstage). Be sure that all shoes and costumes are labeled with dancer s name. If your child is in more than one dance, they will be shown where they can make their costume changes backstage with the assistance of a staff member. Put multiple costumes in a suitcase or basket! Please bring activities, water, and non-greasy/messy snacks for your child to have in dressing room. 8 Saturday, June 2, 2018 Westside High School Auditorium 1:30pm: Children s New York, New York 3:30pm: Performance Matinee (Repertory and Competition Dances) 6:30pm: Coppelia & Motion41 New York, New York Shows will start promptly at 1:30pm, 3:30pm & 6:30pm! (Please allow ample time for parking.) All dancers must arrive at the auditorium ½ hour before show time and sign in at the desk. Children s New York, New York and Coppelia students please arrive in full costume, hair, make-up and ready to perform when you arrive at the theater. At the end of each show there is a FINALE, where the dancers will be brought back onto stage. This is where family members can give their special dancer flowers, take photos on stage. If you do not want to participate in the finale, after their dance(s) you can go to the dressing room to pick up your dancer and proceed to the desk to sign out. We invite you to support the school and the other dancers by watching the show(s) with your dancer. Motion41 New York dancers in the 6:30pm show who are not in Coppelia may watch the show from the audience if they have a ticket (have hair and make-up done.) Do not wear costumes in the auditorium. Go backstage during the intermission after Coppelia to change. All audience members need a ticket. The use of cameras and recording devices will not be permitted during the performance. Thank you for your cooperation. The performance will be professionally videotaped. Get your order forms at the front desk or on the lobby table at the theater.
