Tilto Police Departmet was called to ivestigate the threat ad uder their advice the middle school was also placed uder the same precautioary measures due to its close proximity to the high school. Studets at that time were cotaied i their classrooms, but educatioal istructio cotiued, school officials said. All exterior doors o the buildigs were locked, however, with closely moitored access allowed oly through the frot etrace to each buildig. The district office also activated their automatic phoe alert system to make parets aware of the situatio ad provided iformatio o their Web site as well. The school district is workig closely with the police to locate the source of the threat. Proceeds from the etry fees received that day will beefit the Tilto-Northfield-Saborto Christmas Fud. We ll use that moey to buy ew toys for local families i eed this year, the deliver them to the TNS Christ- mas Fud, said Tilto Sports Ceter s Geeral Maager, Eric Pyra. I additio to their etry fees, players themselves will also be cotributig toys that day ad that s where the public ca help make the day a eve bigger success. People are welcome to drop off ay uwrapped ew toys to the Tilto Sports Ceter this Friday ad Saturday, Pyra said. Fortuately, there is a pla that s bee i place sice 2013 that addresses these objectives.
