3 Northwest ISD Cheerleading Participation Contract Participating in NISD cheerleading is a privilege, not a right. In order for the cheerleader to retain this privilege, the policies and procedures contained in the district constitution must be adhered to in the spirit of discipline, education, and overall goals and objectives of the Northwest Independent School District and the individual High School Cheerleading Organizations. The policies and enforcement procedures are relative to the Northwest ISD Cheerleading Organizations and will be administered accordingly. The rules, regulations, and policies are all outlined in the Northwest ISD Cheerleading Constitution. I,, will do my best as a Cheerleader to always set a positive example for NISD and my high school student body. I plan to follow the rules set forth in the Cheerleading Constitution and understand the consequences if I fail to adhere to the rules and regulations. I will commit myself to attending all practices, fundraisers, and performances. I will always strive to have a positive attitude. I will respect my sponsors, captain(s), and fellow squad members at all times. I have read the NISD Cheerleading Constitution and am aware of the expectations as a cheerleader. School transportation will be provided as much as possible, and the need for students to be transported in any other fashion must be made by the cheer coach, and only after the following form is initialed and signed by a parent / guardian. Medical Release: I hereby give permission for any and all medical attention to be administered to my student.
