1 IIIIV WORLD BATON TWIRLING CHAMPIONSHIPS OVERVIEW Kissimmee, Florida USA August 2-5, 2018 The Central Florida Sports Commission, serves as the community s clearinghouse for sports related tourism and provides the USTA with financial support and sponsorship in hosting this events at their world class venues. The short list of overall assistance that they offer includes, but is not limited to the following: 1) venue identification 2) pre event planning 3) quality hotel room accommodations for all delegations at a choice of rates, hospitality and discount attraction tickets with area attractions (such as Disneyworld and Universal Studios) just to name a few. Sponsorship assistance requires the use of the Stay to Play policy by all participants and USTA believes the CFSC will be a valuable in assisting the United States Twirling Association to implement and execute a successful World Baton Twirling Championships in 2018 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida USA VENUES The World Baton Twirling Championships will take place at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee. The competition is proposed to be staged at Silver Spurs Arena, with catering sessions staged at the Exhibition Hall and practice facilities staged at the Exhibition Hall & other sports complex venues

2 So where is Kissimmee, Florida? Kissimmee is on the southern edge of Orlando, Florida, world famous for Disneyworld and the Universal Studio attractions. Most all major airlines fly to and from the Orlando International Airport and there are a number of transportation companies we are providing you with information to make your transport arrangements to and from the airport to Kissimmee, practice facilities and the competition arena. The Central Florida Sports Commission is the official sponsor of the 2018 World Baton Twirling Championships CFSC is designated as the official attraction ticket provider for the event. CFSC will provide an attraction ticket order site for use in promoting the sale of the tickets, with United States Twirling Association. They will also provide a staff to sell attraction tickets on site during the World Championships. Further information will provided in the coming weeks.
