1 The Paw Print What s New Medallion Has Been Found!! Name: Avery Jensen Feelings: Happy, Shocked Where It Was: By Mr. Laue s room at the wooden shelf. Thoughts: Nobody was there so I decided to look down there. Sports/Activities I interviewed a member of the JCC gymnastics team. She said their coaches are Cheryl Bass, Brandon Halverson, Ellen Vanholen, and Brandi Sether- Hassing. She said her season been going well. Their season is almost over and they are proud with their results this season. I also interviewed some members of the 7th grade girls basketball team. She said their team has improved a lot. Their last game is February 8th at St. James. They also played a game on February 2nd at Windom and they won I interviewed 8th grade basketball member Taylor Post, and she said the team has been improving since the beginning of the year. They have their last game this Thursday in St. James. We played Windom last Friday and they lost by one point.. February Page 1 Issue # 8

2 Variety Student Council Update: I interviewed 2 student council members, Taylor Post and Olivia Anderson. They told me that they have posters hanging around the school for what's going on. Student council was selling flowers for $2.00 that you could buy for your friend/best friend, your crush, or more. They don't have an idea for the next dance yet. 4 Student Spotlight 6 th Grade The 6th grade student I am interviewing is Megan Benson. Her favorite subject in school is band and she plays the clarinet. When she graduates from high school she wants to go to college to be a doctor. Her favorite kind of music is pop. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends and do sports. She has also traveled to Florida, South Dakota, Georgia, and Wisconsin. The sports she plays are volleyball, basketball, and golf. 7 th grade The 7th student I m interviewing is Peyton Hanson. After high school Peyton plans on going to College. She wants to be a teacher. In her free time Peyton likes playing volleyball. She has traveled to Florida before. Peyton has 2 dogs. She also has 2 sisters. Her favorite type of music is pop. Payton plays the clarinet in band. 8 th Grade The 8th grade student I am interviewing is Eddy Lucht. When Eddy graduates high school he wants to go to college. When he goes to college he wants to be a veterinarian because he likes animals. Also, he has four sisters and two brothers. Dear Husky, You should try talking to her/him after school. You could also ask for help from a teacher, para, friend or parents. Tell them you will go with their them to talk to someone if they want.
