2 On competitions requiring overnight stays or transportation to another city; if you cannot travel with your athlete, you must contact another parent to make arrangements for your child. It is not the responsibility of the gym or coaches to provide these arrangements. The gym, head coach, assistant coaches, assistants, volunteers, team members, or any other authorized agent or associates of Infinity Allstars shall not be held liable for your athlete for any time prior or after the actual competition. Please be advised that the person you coordinate to chaperone your cheerleader to the competition(s) will be responsible for your child from the time he/she leaves your home until he/she returns to your home. Please note that you will be responsible for payment of your hotel rooms as well as transportation to any out of town competitions. IMPORTANT REMINDERS 1. All Team Members MUST stay in the designated hotel together. 2. You are responsible for making your own reservations. You must follow the steps listed for each assigned hotel. **NOTE that each hotel will have a specific booking window. You are responsible for making your reservation/changes/cancellations within the listed time frame! 3. Travel for each competition is NOT covered in your competition fees. You will be responsible for hotels, gas, flights, food, and any other expenses during away competitions. 4. When making your reservation, LIST ALL ATHLETES THAT ARE STAYING IN YOUR ROOM. 5. You MUST book through the housing companies as part of the competition companies Stay to Play Policy. We must show our compliance by turning in housing forms that match each athlete on our team rosters, to a reservation with the housing companies. This policy is STRICTLY enforced and all families must be in compliance. Each assigned hotel will have specific deadlines. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have booked within the designated window. 3 State Championship January 13 th -15 th Daytona Beach, Florida This competition does not require an overnight stay; you can drive to/from Jacksonville and Daytona each day if you wish. This is a TWO day competition. Because we will NOT have the final compete times for each of our teams until the week BEFORE the competition, we do not know what the meeting time will be for each team on Saturday and Sunday. Some teams may have an arrival time as early as 7 am. If you wish to stay overnight you will need to make your own reservations. 4 Mardi Gras Extravaganza January 21 st -January 22 nd New Orleans, Louisiana This is a WORLDS bid event for our Senior Level 5 team. Lady Luck will be the only team competing at this competition. The hotel is located 0.3 miles from the competition venue. We will not know compete times until the week of the competition. Some teams may be required to arrive as early as 7 am. 6 Cheersport Nationals February 18 th -19 th Atlanta, Georgia We will be staying at The Sheraton Atlanta. This hotel is 1.6 mile drive & a 0.8 mile walk from the Georgia World Congress Center where the competition will be held. Name of Hotel: The Sheraton Atlanta Address: 165 Courtland St NE. 7 NCA Nationals February 24 th -February 26 th Dallas, Texas Junior 1, Junior 2, Senior 2, Youth 3, Senior 3, Junior 4, and Senior 4 ONLY. This year, you will have two options for hotels. Option 1: The Adolphus (0.6 miles from Convention Center) Address: 1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX Price per Night: $ per night (rate includes all taxes) (3 night minimum) Advanced Deposit: One night s room and tax may be charged on the credit card provided 3-7 days prior to arrival. *** We have a limited number of rooms with double kings. If you can take a single king room, PLEASE DO SO. Booking Deadline: August 15, 2016 Option 2: Hyatt Regency Dallas (0.4 miles from Convention Center) We have a VERY LIMITED number of rooms at this hotel. They will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Address: 300 Reunion Boulevard, Dallas, TX Price per Night: $310 (rate includes all taxes) (3 night minimum) Advanced Deposit: At the time of booking, the full amount for your entire stay (ALL NIGHTS ROOM AND TAX) will be charged. (Please keep in mind that the tax is subject to change without notice). THIS CHARGE IS FULLY NON-REFUNDABLE UPON BOOKING. If you wish to pay via credit card, the card on the reservation will be charged within 3-7 business days of booking and the deposit will appear on your statement as "Connections". FLIGHT DETAILS: You must make your own airline reservation and send the confirmation to by 01/30/17. You may fly into Dallas (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL) - Both airports are approximately 30 minutes from the downtown area. The only teams permitted to leave Sunday are Junior 1, Junior 4 and Senior 4. All other teams are required to stay until Monday. If you are flying out on Thursday OR Friday, YOU MUST be on a flight that leaves before 4:15 pm!!! DO NOT try and take the last direct flight out of Jacksonville. If you book a flight leaving Jacksonville after 4:15, you WILL be asked to change your flight. No exceptions. Due to possible winter weather, please DO NOT book a connecting flight that heads north before Dallas. NOTE: Flights on American are usually the best since they are NONSTOP. This will help eliminate potential delays/layovers/ lost luggage, etc. REMEMBER TO CARRY ON UNIFORM & ANY OTHER COMPETITION ACCESSORIES. YOU MUST BE AT THE HOTEL BY 9PM ON FRIDAY with the exception of Junior 1, Junior 4 & Senior 4 who MUST be in Dallas Thursday night by 9pm. It is your responsibility to make necessary transportation arrangements to and from the Dallas airport. 8
