2 About Us Summit Volleyball Club and Nitro Volleyball Club are building on their first successful year of a merger between the two organizations which fielded 34 teams last season. We stay dedicated to youth development and promote next level thinking, coaching and goals for those that want to play in college. We are looking forward to the season and thank you and your family for considering us.

We strive to create a model that will be duplicated by other clubs around the country who also wish to provide quality and value to their players and families. 6 Team Levels Summit-Nitro National Travel Teams Team Dues: $3600 Our National teams will play in tournaments, including two National Qualifiers, Tour of Texas, and one to two travel tournaments. Each team s travel tournament schedule varies by age. National teams will practice 2-3 nights per week at VIP or TEA or both locations. Summit-Nitro Elite Teams Team Dues: $2700 Our Elite teams will play in 9-10 tournaments, including Lone Star, Shreveport, Tulsa and the Regionals tournament. All of our Elite teams will play the same schedule regardless of age. Elite teams will practice 2 nights per week at VIP or TEA locations.

7 Team Levels cont d Summit-Nitro Metro Teams Our Metro teams will play in 4-5 local tournaments and practice one day per week. All of our Metro teams will play the same schedule regardless of age. 11 Positional Skill Clinics Summit-Nitro will be offering positional skills clinics on Friday. These clinics are included in the dues for our National teams. Elite and Metro team players can attended for an additional cost.

12 Summit-Nitro Dues What is included in Player dues? Player membership fees include but are not limited to: Coaching Salaries, Facility Rental, Registration, Equipment and Supplies, Tournament Entry Fees, Coaches Travel Expenses Score and Referee Clinics, Friday Skill Clinics, Summit-Nitro Car decal, National, Elite, Select & Metro Team Uniform Packages. Nationals is in New Orleans and is not included in your team dues.

15 Tryouts All of our tryouts will be held at The Volleyball Institute of Plano (VIP) or Texas Elite Athletics (TEA). The following steps need to be completed in order to register and tryout for Summit-Nitro Volleyball (SNVC) for the season. Please start on number one below to begin the tryout registration process. If you have registered with us before, you will only need to update your information. If you cannot remember your password, we can it to you at the address you submitted last year. If you have not registered with us before you will be shown the instructions to do so by clicking on the register link.

16 Tryouts cont d 1. Register Here and pay online or bring a check for $75.00* PASSWORD IS THE FAMILY PASSWORD PROVIDED, TYPICALLY PARENT ADDRESS. 2. Register with the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball (click here) 3. Bring your Medical Release form (click here) USA Volleyball Junior Player Age Definition. (click here) *Please note that tryout fees are NOT refundable.

17 How to Navigate the Tryout Process! Registration! Register Online at summitvolleyball.com! If you want to tryout for a top team, please attend the Plano tryouts first.! You will have the option to pick: Top team only, Addison area team, Plano area team, or All of the above! If you have preference those may be indicated in the comments section! Make sure you have a plan! Know who will be your 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd choice! We will our offers at Plano, Addison may hand them out! We will invite all kids back! We will have staff members going back and forth between Plano and Addison! Some offers will be sent right away after the first tryout MOST will not! Just because you have not received an offer immediately from us DOES NOT mean that we are not interested! If you have a conflict andysummit@yahoo.com (other tryouts do not constitute a conflict however)! Be honest with all clubs! Tell them if they are a 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd choice for you! Attend the tryout of your first club first and then attend your other choices! If you receive an offer from your first choice take it right away and let the other clubs know ASAP! If you don t you are holding up offers for other players that could use that offer! Don t let clubs trick/force you into taking an offer! If you get pressured to take an offer within the 24 waiting period please notify the region immediately
