Contact us for your account number & password in advance and make sure to update your address! Guest Services To help make the first day of camp go as smoothly as possible, we recommend campers arrive 15 minutes early. This will help campers settle in quickly while their parents/guardians fill out the necessary paperwork. Each day thereafter will include a quick sign in process and campers will be on their way! We strongly encourage all campers to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the camp. Unless it s specified, we encourage campers to dress in active wear clothing, be prepared for outdoor play and ensure to bring indoor footwear. The day is much more fun when you are comfortable! If your child has disabilities, please contact us directly at communications@rrcwb.ca to discuss how we can accommodate their participation and maximize their experience in our summer camps. Make sure your is up to date with our Guest Services team! We will a camp guide/parent handbook with all the necessary information including what to bring, expectations and the camp schedule. 4 SUMMER CAMPS EDITION SCOTIABANK MI SUMMER CAMPS 7 WHAT ARE SCOTIABANK MI SUMMER CAMPS? Scotiabank MI Summer Camps are week-long camps that take place during summer break at MacDonald Island Park. Thanks to the support of Scotiabank, MI Summer Camps will be provided at a discounted price to kids in Wood Buffalo again this summer! Kids of all age groups can choose from multi-activity day camps focused on adventure, expression, excitement and positive learning through creativity and play. Scotiabank MI Summer Camp activities include team sports, interactive games and activities, golf, dance, crafts, water play and more! Week-long camps are offered between July 3 and August 31. All camps are fully supervised and run by qualified, trained MacDonald Island Park camp leaders and instructors.

Camps are a great way to develop socialization, skills and build new friendships. All the games and activities are based weekly themed program. WEEKLY THEME ACTIVITIES Nature Nuts: A nature walk through our on Island nature trail. This is where we will collect our supplies for our arts and crafts that week. Bug s Life: With nets and magnifying glasses in hand we are off to explore the Island to find some little friends. Jungle Adventures: This camp is filled with games, activities, crafts and songs for children that love the jungle life. Amazing Space: During amazing space week campers will have the opportunity to learn about our solar system through games, arts and crafts and more. Community Helpers: Special guests will be visiting us throughout the week. Barnyard Dance: This week children will learn to gallop like a horse and waddle like a duck through farm-themed fun and games. Sports of All Sorts: Exploring all the sports available on the island. For example, playing ball like the Fort McMurray Giants on the baseball field. Superheroes: Unleash your super hero powers and train to climb the rock wall like Spiderman and Catwoman. Our small class size of 18 students ensures that each child receives individual attention, and is encouraged to advance at their own pace.
