2 DANCE CLASSES ONLINE REGISTRATION Begins Monday, April 9th UDA s 4-Week Summer Session allows dancers to choose selected classes or have a Dance Camp experience by participating in all dance classes for their age group. Classes begin Tuesday, July 3rd and continue through Wednesday, August 1st. *No classes will be held on July 4th and 24th due to the holiday. SUMMER DANCE REGISTRATION Registration begins Monday, April 9th. Registration can be done online or in person at the UDA Customer Care Office during the operating hours listed. Use the following link to register online: New students to UDA will be charged a $10 registration fee There are no refunds on registration fees, summer tuition or missed classes. Make up classes are not provided in the summer. Registration must take place before a student is allowed to participate in class There is no formal dress code for summer classes. Dancers are required to wear appropriate dance shoes and dance clothing that is comfortable to move in. FALL REGISTRATION INCENTIVE New students who enroll in UDA s Summer Session prior to June 20th may register for Fall session early with our continuing students. What if Snow White lived with 7 little frogs instead of dwarfs, or Rapunzel s hair was made out of spaghetti noodles? Anything is possible when fun, games and creativity are combined in this Acting/Musical Theater Class! Children will learn basic acting techniques, become playwrights, dance, sing and show off their amazing skills to family and friends in a closing performance! 5 PRETEEN PRETEEN CLASS OPTIONS Dancers who will be in 5th - 7th grade for the school year NEW CLASSES FOR THE PRETEEN LEVEL: Master Class! In each class, a new combo will be taught (jazz, contemporary, lyrical) to help dancers pick up choreography quickly. Artistry, style and performance techniques will be applied and studied. A new teacher/choreographer will teach each week. Acting Class Theater-palooza: Musical Comedy Show! Saturday Night Live will have nothing on these youth as they dive into the land of sketch comedy! Participants will study the fine art of comedy performance as they try their hand creating sketches with a beginning, middle, and a punch line. The session will focus on memorizing lines, portraying characters, writing scripts, creating costumes, make-up and sets and refining performance skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Actors will work together to make magic happen on stage in a closing performance for family and friends! 6 TEEN TEEN CLASS OPTIONS Dancers who will be in 8th - 12th grade for the school year NEW CLASSES FOR TEEN LEVEL: Master Class! In each class, a new combo will be taught (jazz, contemporary, lyrical) to help dancers pick up choreography quickly. Artistry, style and performance techniques will be applied and studied. A new teacher/choreographer will teach each week. Acting Class Broadway Review! Come Defy Gravity and climb Into the Heights singing, dancing and portraying favorite Broadway musical characters! This class will focus on character creation, vocal enhancement and stretching/challenging ones theater skills to help each student reach a polished performance. Participants will star in their own Broadway Performance in a closing show for family and friends!
