1 Kaylin calls the meeting to order at: 5:00PM Agenda 9-13 Guest Speakers: Alpha Sigma Tau (Emily) o Lead educational person of Alpha Sigma Tau o Works with sororities o Handed out referral sheets o A chance to become a founded member of the sorority o Starting a brand new chapter on campus o If you happen to think of anybody who wants to join send them to the table in the lower hyphen (10-3) o Looking for awesome women o It s only been 3 days and I already have 70 new friends. Lexie Mertens o Nutrition Minor o A group of students who are going to South Dakota o Teach kids about nutrition o Grocery BINGO money to go the project instead of Relay for Life o February to May o Working Winona Health Day of the day: National Video Games Day National Chocolate Milkshake Day National Day of Encouragement Committee reviews: Special Events o Inflatables on the day of the outdoor movie o Cirque Zuma Zuma Concerts o Fundraising concert Tracy: Fall concert o Not able to share information o There s not a signed contract o Nothing to do with us at WSU o We have every intention in doing this concert o Starting working on this concert in June We have a lot of stuff coming up

Homecoming t-shirts on sale, you can buy them online through Sunday o Outside in the courtyard (during lunch hours) or outside Jack Kane (during dinner hours) Homecoming court nominations are due Thursday o Do not need to be a king or queen (royalty) o Sophomore status and 2.5 GPA Special Events On Campus: Grocery Bingo o This Thursday September 15 th o Sent around sign up sheet o In the Smaug o Be there at 6:45PM or 7:45PM Whatever shift you signed up for Outdoor movie o Friday, September 30 th o Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates o Starts at 6:45pm Not attendance required You ll get an extra attendance point Inflatables o Friday, September 30 th o 11-2 o Phelps lawn o Inflatables Bungee Jumper Boot Camp Obstacle Course v It would attract both males and females v It would be fast v If you just get one it would be worth the money Velcro Wall v If you have a lot of people, you have to change outfits Leaps and Bounds 3 Giant Slides Bungee Basketball v This would be really fun 1,400 for two smaller ones Attendance wouldn t be required since they bring their own people o Motion Marissa makes a motion to bring Inflatables to the Phelps Lawn on Friday September 30th from 11-2 PM spending no more than $1400. 3 Cirque Zuma Zuma o Circus/Acrobatic o $4,000 o With 10 hotel rooms ($700) o $4,700 o Location: Somsen Good event, incredible, Friday night not best idea for attendance Did it on a weekend last time and it went over well People talked about them a lot after the event o Feb 24 th Friday before PALS weekend Right around midterms If you publicize the right way, people will come Special Events Off Campus: Thanks for coming to the Twins Game and $5 Bowling Night! o 55 for bowling o Sold out of Twins Game Badger vs. Gopher hockey tickets o $24 tickets o 55 or because the game sells out really quick Already heard a lot of buzz on campus o Saturday Jan 21 st o Motion Alyssa makes a motion to purchase 110 tickets to the Wisconsin Badgers vs. Minnesota Gophers hockey game in Madison WI on Saturday, January 21st. Purchasing tickets for $24 and selling to students for $20. UPAC members at attendance for $15. Selling two tickets per valid WSU ID. Tickets go on sale at a time and date TBD.
