2 Hello Everyone! We want to thank you for your interest in Expression of Dance. We are excited to begin our 23rd season offering various classes for ages 3 to adult in beginner, intermediate, advanced & competition levels. Our focus is to provide our students with dance and acro training that will positively affect their lives. Through the joy of dance, children learn creativity, flexibility and balance. They learn to believe in themselves and what they can accomplish. The EOD teachers inspire and encourage students while instilling self-confidence, self-awareness and self-respect through the art of dance. We hope you will join us! Tuition Sign up for tuition auto pay and the first of every month your tuition is charged to your debit/credit card (a form must be filled out each season for this type of payment) or log into the parent portal through our website and make a payment onto your account at your leisure (payments must be made by deadline to avoid late fees.) At the end of each month any tuition balance not paid will be charged a $10 late fee. A registration fee of $20 per family (non-refundable) and first month s tuition is due at the time of enrollment. Tuition is due the first lesson of every month. Whether there are 3, 4 or 5 weeks in a month, tuition remains the same price. Makeup classes are always suggested when excessive absences occur. *Any returned checks will incur a $30 charge. *There are no refunds for missed classes. *If a student should withdraw from class, the studio office needs to be notified immediately. If we are not notified you will continue to be charged for class. 45 minute class - $45 per month 1 hour class - $55 per month Discount - $5 off each additional class or family members. *Must be on the same account to receive this discount. 3 Classes Offered Beginner through advanced levels in acro, ballet, baton, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, pointe, and tap. Pre-School classes for ages 3-6 consist of acro, ballet, tap and rhythm and exercise dance. Classes meet once a week and run September through June. Which Class To Choose Choose the class that is the appropriate age group and one that will work with your schedule. All instructors will be observing students the first month of class making sure they are in the correct level class. If a teacher feels they should try a different class we will notify you immediately. How To Register For the quickest and easiest way to enroll, register online at expressionofdance.com or stop by the studio during the open house dates. You can also mail in your completed registration form with the registration fee and first month s tuition. A spot is not held or saved. All registration is on a first come, first serve basis for all current and new students. Each class will have a size limit and will close when it reaches its maximum. Class sizes vary depending on the age and level of the group. We will contact you if there is a problem, otherwise we will see you the first day of class!

5 Dance Attire Students are expected to wear dancewear in class, along with hair pulled back and off of the face. For specific attire and appropriate shoes, see the class list on our website. Most shoes needed are the brand Revolution and can only be purchased through the studio. Please attend an open house in order to have the shoes in time for the first class. Shoes can be purchased throughout the season by visiting the office. All required shoes will be worn in the annual recital. Studio Information Every month a newsletter will be posted on the studio bulletin board, the website and ed to each family. The s you receive are to keep both parents and students informed of important studio news, reminders and updates. Please be sure to stay up to date on all studio news and deadlines. Annual Recital All classes will participate in our annual recital that is held in June at Nazareth Area High School. All students must attend the dress rehearsal (held the weekend prior to the recital) and all required recital shows. Refer to the class schedule to determine which specific recital days your child is performing. In order to participate in the recital, we ask all students to attend class regularly, wear the appropriate costume (including hair, make-up, tights and shoes) and purchase the required recital tickets. If your child does not wish to perform in the recital, a written statement must be handed into the office by the end of November, otherwise a costume will be ordered for your child. Inclement Weather In the event of inclement weather conditions during the winter months we recommend checking social media, , WFMZ, or a message on our website to see if classes will be held. Many times the roads may be bad in the morning but are cleared by the afternoon, and we will have class.
