5 Why? Summer Holidy Club is eight weeks of trets nd fun (most prents wnt to come)!! It is time for fun, relxtion nd enjoyment fter working so hrd t school ll yer. Summer Holidys re lso expensive nd we wnt to mke sure the children get the most out of them. As such whilst children bring little pocket money on certin dys we hve built up summer outings fund for the children from your fees pid during the school yer in order to cover dditionl costs (nd those costs re huge!!) such s trnsport, extr stffing for outings, rt mterils, themed equipment, even our disposble BBQ s nd ice crems when we re t the prk!! We pln summer holidy club round themed weeks with one plnned ctivity or excursion ech dy. Whilst we try to stick to the pln s much s possible we my switch outdoor ctivities within week ccording to the wether, this flexibility mkes our progrmme much more enjoyble for the children. Children re welcome to strt the dy nytime between 8m nd 10.30m during the summer. During this time the children enjoy relxed strt to the morning, hving brekfst, wtching TV, free ply of their choice nd getting redy to go out for the dy. We find the children love to hve jobs in the morning like pcking the trolleys, lbelling wter bottles, pcking the rin cots, wtering the plnts, ticking off who hs hd their sun crem pplied etc. nd we ctively encourge this tem effort!! Children bring pcked lunch ech dy. Kids Ply Den provide substntil hot morning snck in lieu of lunch s we find the children re much hungrier due to being in the outdoors nd ctive ll dy during the summer. Afternoon snck is fruit, yoghurt nd crckers/ tost/ pnckes. During Outings children re looked fter in groups of 8 or less. The sme member of stff looks fter the sme children the whole dy. Summer Holidy Club 2018 This ensures they tke responsibility for ll spects of their cre nd re given lots of ttention. As you know we re ll experienced out of school crers nd s such re trined specificlly in working with children whilst they re out nd bout. We hve been to the plces on our progrmme nd s such hve completed risk/ benefit ssessments for ll our outings in order to give prents complete pece of mind. Unless otherwise dvised we re normlly bck t Ply Den t 4.30pm nd children cn be collected ny time from 4.30pm to 6pm. The lter prt of the dy is spent relxing nd chilling out. We provide themed rt ctivity t the rt tble, themed nd free ply nd llow the children to wtch TV if they re tired. The children re lso encourged to keep scrp book of the summer. As well s being nice keepske for them it is gret wy of encourging the children to keep up their writing skills!! Wht do prents need to do? Plese mke sure your child wers their red Kids Ply Den T-Shirt every dy. This mkes it so much esier for us to lwys know where they re nd keep them sfe!! Plese lso bring fleece or wrm top. We hve red Kids Ply Den Mc Scs for ech child in the cse tht it rins so no cot is needed. If they re hving lie in nd re not in before 10m plese mke sure you hve pplied their sun crem nd they hve hd brekfst. On your child s first dy of summer holidy club plese bring sun ht/ bsebll cp nd sun crem (SPF30+ plese). Both lbelled nd put them in their bg t their peg. Plese ensure your child hs their pcked lunch nd pocket money with them. You my prefer to give in pocket money t the strt of the week or for the summer in dvnce.
