1 Virtus Opt OUT Form January 17, 2018 St. Louis Catholic School will present a sexual abuse prevention program, The Touching Safety Program, to our students in February/March. The creators of the Protecting God s Children program developed The Touching Safety Program. This program is provided to us by the Diocese of Memphis, and is part of our ongoing effort to help create and maintain a safe environment for children and to protect all children from sexual abuse. The lessons are being offered on scheduled dates in February through March to all students in grades K-8 at St. Louis Catholic School. As a parent, you have the right to choose whether your student participates. We encourage you to go to You may access The Touching Safety Program link in the right column, and read the program overview. 3 SLS BOOK FAIR The St Louis book fair is fast approaching and we need your help to make it a success. If you ve been trying to find a way to get involved, this is an easy way to do it. Volunteers will help kids shop for books and/or check the kids out at the register. Please see the attached link to sign up for available times.

SUGGESTED ITEMS INCLUDE: home goods, artwork, event tickets or special classes, services, jewelry, gift baskets, and gift cards. You may even have holiday gifts or gift cards that you don t need! 10 Jump Rope for Heart / Hoops for Heart is Wednesday, January 24! Please help us raise money for the American Heart Association! Students can create personal webpages, videos, and ecards to to friends and family or post through Facebook! Students can also track their progress online! Safe, secure, and no money for the children to handle! 1 st -3 rd grades can register for online fundraising on heart.org/jump. 4 th - 6 th grades can register for online fundraising on heart.org/hoops. Cash and check donations are also accepted! Checks can be made payable to the American Heart Association. Grades 1-3 will be in the Old Gym from 12:30-1:30. Grades 4-6 will be in the New Gym from 1:45-2:45. Thank you!

The Men s Club will have several ready-made trailer floats outfitted with railings for safety for your riders. All you have to do is decorate. You must contract Greg Crone to reserve these floats!
