3 The pageant is sponsored by the Vidalia Charter Chapter of the American Business Women s Association. Applications become the property of the Pageant Committee. The Vidalia Charter Chapter of ABWA will not be responsible for inadvertent errors or accidental injuries which occur during pageant rehearsals or during the pageant. I hereby give permission for my child, to participate in the Little Miss Vidalia Onion Pageant and understand that I am responsible for paying all required fees by the due date stated on the pageant application. We agree to comply with all rules and regulations, attend all requested meetings and rehearsals, and if crowned, she (the child) will perform to the best of her ability as Little Miss Onion Seed Queen, Little Miss Onion Sprout Queen or Little Miss Spring Onion Queen. 4 RULES AND REGULATIONS Sponsored by the Vidalia Charter Chapter of the American Business Women s Association April 7th, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Southeastern Technical College All contestants must live within a 60 mile radius of Vidalia, Georgia, and must not have been a previous winner in her age division. Only the first 30 applications received for each category will be accepted. Contestant order is determined by order received. The first application received gets to pick their placement. Each application received after will be placed first in, last out and the last application received will be the first contestant out. The categories are as follows: Baby Miss Vidalia Onion (0-12 Months) *12 Months=1 Year Teeny Miss Vidalia Onion (13 Months 24 Months) *24 Months=2 Years Tiny Miss Vidalia Onion (3-4 Years Old) Little Miss Vidalia Onion (5-6 Years Old) Young Miss Vidalia Onion (7-9 Years Old) Junior Miss Vidalia Onion (10-12 Years Old) A Miss Photogenic contest will be held in connection with this pageant. Only first place awards will be awarded in each age division. Submit an 8 x 10 or 5 x 7 color or black/white picture with entry form and fee. **Picture MUST be turned in Friday night at practice and picked up the day of the pageant. Entry fees are as follows: $50.00 for Pageant $20.00 for Photogenic Make check or money order payable to ABWA and return entry form payment(s) to: Miss Vidalia Onion Pageant Vidalia Chapter ABWA Post Office Box 2212 Vidalia, Georgia Applications can also be dropped off at Envy Salon or the Toombs-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce. ABWA will not provide judges score sheets. (There will be a comment sheet for each contestant that the judges will fill out with

5 comments and suggestions. This comment sheet will be ed to the contestant after the pageant for those who request it on application.) NO PARENTS will be allowed backstage there will be persons backstage to make sure your child is properly cared for and gets where she needs to be. The only parents allowed will be one parent per child in the baby and teeny miss divisions. The queen of each age division will be a special guest of the Miss Vidalia Onion Pageant that night and will be recognized on stage at that event. All contestants will receive a participation trophy. If your child is a winner of any of the three categories ABWA will apply to have her in the Vidalia Christmas Parade but all Queens are required to ride together as group in the parade. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MARCH 16, *Applications turned in after deadline will require a $25.00 late fee. Rehearsal will be at Southeastern Technical College on Friday, April 6th. One free admission ticket will be issued per contestant rehearsal Friday evening. This ticket will allow for the free admission of one (1) guest. No other guests will be admitted free of charge. ALL SEATS - $5 THERE WILL BE A PEOPLE S CHOICE CONTEST HELD IN EACH AGE DIVISION AND A PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNER.
