I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their kindness and support regarding my operation and Claire s. I am happy to report that both were a complete success and that unfortunately Claire has her voice back 100%. I will be away from my desk for a little while longer but I look forward to seeing you all very soon, as always please contact Claire if you have any problems and she will be happy to help. Allocation day will be Monday 14 th March. Bookings from this newsletter need to be sent to our bookings@lupwolverhampton.org.uk Please do try to use this as your preferred method. We will try to notify you by 5pm, Thursday 17 th March. Please check you phones or computers after this point. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Wednesfield Rotary Club for their support and wonderful donation. Alice law, our junior sessional worker, together with her mother, our Trustee Trudi Law organised a table top sale which raised an amazing A thank you also to the Midlands News Association staff donated in lieu of Christmas Cards this year and raised a huge 235. Saturday 19 th March Rocky Road and Easter Crafts 5 19 years 10 am 2pm Come and help us make delicious Easter themed rocky road, followed by lots of Easter crafts. Lunch will be provided and will be a buffet. Tuesday 29 th March Indoor Climbing 8 19 years 2pm - 4pm Another visit to the wonderful Wolf Mountain to challenge you to climb that little bit higher. Wolf Mountain, Paget Road, Wolverhampton. WV6 0DU Please bring along any snacks and drinks you may require.
3 Wednesday 30 th March Black Country Museum 10am 2pm 2 Tipton Rd, Dudley DY1 4SQ 5-19 years Step back in time to enjoy turn of the century skills, schooling and shopping. Please meet outside the foyer and please be on time. Children will require a packed lunch and drinks. Money for the sweet shop, bakery or chips would be nice. Parking tokens for the carpark can be requested at reception for those just dropping off and collecting children. Thursday 31 st March 10am 1pm Large Screen Gaming years Large screen gaming for our older children. As it is only a half-day session snacks and refreshments rather than a meal will be provided. Thursday 31 st March Tea Party and Entertainer 5 11 years 1.30pm pm A children s party entertainer followed by afternoon tea for our younger members. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions along with your booking. Please bring along a teddy bear if you wish
4 Thursday 7 th April 10am - 3pm Our Lady and St Chads, Old Fallings Lane Wolverhampton Our all things Africa day. Please take a look overleaf at the activities on offer. If you require particular activities for your child please make sure that you tell Claire when booking. Please note all activities are limited by numbers so you may not get all of the things you wish, but Claire will allocate as fairly as possible. Packed lunches are required for those staying all day. We would love to see as many parents at our first Makaton sessions as possible, as we think it would be a great opportunity to practice our inclusive communication skills.

Saturday 7 th May Cardboard Character Hats Lunch will be provided and will be a buffet years 10am 2pm Make your own favourite character hats from cardboard bring an idea or use one of ours. Saturday 14 th May Red by Night At the black country Museum Lunch will be Burgers (vegetarian option provided upon request) Years 7pm -10pm Experience the industrial might of the Black Country at Red by Night as skilled craftsmen, live demonstrations and hard-hitting street theatre bring the reality of black by day, red by night to life. 2 Tipton Rd, Dudley DY1 4SQ Drop off at the foyer, please allow money for chips, drinks or treats.
