1 2018 Sponsor Letter Dear Business Owner and Community Leader, Thank you for your interest in league sponsorship for the 2018 season. Eastlake Little League is one of the few leagues that is 100% self-sufficient and receives no support from the city. By supporting our league you will help cover some of our considerable operating costs and allow us to keep registration fees at a reasonable level. All donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501-C (3) organization. Our success in promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development, with a focus on athletic activity comes only through support from community and business leaders like you. Your sponsorship will help our effort to allow all children in our community the opportunity to be involved in a positive activity with the proper facilities, equipment, and training to ensure their safe enjoyment and success. Over 550 kids and their families enjoy baseball at Eastlake Little League where they are creating great memories that will last a lifetime. Additionally, our league is well known for a high level of competitive baseball. We are very proud to call ourselves the 2013 Little League World Series United States Champions. The 2013 season took our community, and the whole city of San Diego on a magical ride that ended with us winning a national championship at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. One of our greatest accomplishments is the creation and ongoing development of our Challenger Division enabling boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball. One of the benefits of having a Challenger Division is that it encourages the use of "buddies" for the Challenger players. The buddies assist the Challenger players on the field, but whenever possible, encourage the players to bat and make plays themselves. This year we continue to raise funds for the build-out of our Challenger Field and its surrounding areas. Our 2018 sponsorship program offers great exposure to businesses and individuals who contribute to our league. As a sponsor, you re provided with a wonderful opportunity to connect with over 500 families who are potential customers for your business. Depending on your sponsorship level, sponsors can receive banner advertising at our many fields, promotion on our league website, exposure through new and exciting social media campaigns that we ll be running, and also the opportunity to set up a booth at our Opening Day ceremonies. We are confident there is a sponsorship level that fits your needs. Our season starts in January with assessments and our first practices and we want to make sure your sponsorship banners and advertising is in place on day 1 of our 2018 season. 2 YOUR SPONSORSHIP DOLLARS AT WORK For many of our 4 to 6 year old T-Ballers this is their first time with team sports and baseball. Our coaches help them learn and enjoy the game in a fun and safe environment. Our main goal is that they have so much fun they sign up next In our 7 to 10 year old Minor division our coaches are still focused on development but there is healthy competition at the end of the year to make things exciting. Kids become more capable and get a real sense of working together as a team. We have our Minor B Division for 7/8 year olds and our Minor A Division for 9/10 year olds. Our 11/12 year old Major division is the most exciting in Little League. Coaches still focus on helping kids in all aspects of personal and athletic development but the level of play is phenomenal. This age group competes to go to the Little League World Series which we were fortunate to win in Our 11/12/13 year old Intermediate and our 13/14 year old Junior divisions provides kids an opportunity to continue to develop and play Little League style baseball while at the same time preparing them for competing in middle and high school. These games have fast action and are fun to watch. Intermediate division utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70foot base paths. Eastlake s Challenger Division enables boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18 (up to age 22 if in high school), to enjoy baseball with millions of kids worldwide. In 2017, we continue the build-out of our Challenger Field and complex located at our Juniors facility. Helping the youth of Eastlake and Eastern Chula Vista develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork, physical well-being, and memories to last a lifetime through Little League baseball. 5 2018 Auction Donation Letter Dear Business Owner and Community Leader, Eastlake Little League would like to invite you to join us for our upcoming Open Day celebration on Saturday March 3, As part of our Opening Day celebration we are holding a silent auction to help raise funds to operate our league of over 550 players. Eastlake Little League is one of the few leagues that is 100% self-sufficient and receives no support from the city. By donating items for our auction you will help us raise funds to cover some of our considerable operating costs and allow us to keep registration fees at a reasonable level. All donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501-C (3) organization. We are seeking donations of various auction items to make this day a success. Things that make perfect auction items are gift certificates, event tickets, experience tickets, hotel stays, vacations, sports items and tickets, restaurant vouchers, massage/facial/pedicure certificates, photography sessions, etc. Please consider how you can help our league make our 2018 Opening Day the best one ever.
