Each member must maintain a GPA f 2.O r higher in rder t remain eligible t cheer. Each member must enrll in minimum f 12 credit hurs t remain full time. Graduate students must enrll in a minimum f 9 credit hurs Fees All frms in tryut packed filled ut cmpletely with $45.00 applicatin/tryut fee paid t UTSA Cheerleading. UTSA Cheer has a histry as a cmpetitive prgram. The prgram attends NCA Cllege Camp and Natinals. Reminder: The prgram s first pririty is t supprt UTSA Athletics and represent neself as an ambassadr t the University. Cmpetitin at Natinals is nt guaranteed each year and must be earned. Any cst f these camps, clinics, events r cmpetitin will nt cvered by the University. Each cheerleader is respnsible fr fundraising csts r paying such fees if granted the pprtunity t cmpete. All Fundraising pprtunities will be made mandatry thrughut the seasn. Time Obligatin Summer Practices will be Mandatry. Camp attendance is Mandatry. Practice dates will be determined at the cach s discretin. Game day is a majr fcus fr the UTSA spirit prgram. All hme ftball games are mandatry and we have pprtunity t travel t select away athletic events. Hlidays and Vacatins are determined accrdingly t the seasn games, playffs, cmpetitins, turnaments, and bwl games. Team Requirements Each member must pass a physical examinatin. Each member must pass a skill and fitness exam each semester. Each member will be required t abide by the plicies and prcedures. Each member will be required t attend team wrkuts and team tumbling. Each member will be required t fundraise and pay any required fees. Safety ACCA safety rules are applied t all athletes. N jewelry f any kind is allwed. Must be medically cleared t participate in tryuts. Skills will be requested n dead mat.

6 Attire Hair up ut f the face with a bw f yur chice. Full Game day/cmp make up. Natural make up. N excessive glitter. All Black Attire. Black Sprts Bra (female), Black Shirt, (Male), Black Shrts Shes must be wrn the whle time. Tatts must be cvered r hidden. Minimal Skill Requirements- Tumbling ALL SKILLS ON DEAD FLOOR Standing- Standing Tuck. Jump cnnected t back handsprings t a tuck/layut/full. Multiple/whipped Jumps t Back Tuck and handsprings t layuts/fulls. Running- Rund ff handspring Layut/full s. Specialty Skills. Minimal Skill Requirements- Stunting Flyers- must be able t pull multiple bdy psitins. Full up, arund, and wrking duble dwn. Als, willing t base as needed. Female Bases- must have stunting experience with advanced stunting skills such as full ups, duble dwns, inversins, tick tcks, and ther elite skills. Must be willing t base in multiple psitins. Males- Must have a tss hands. Preferred extensin/libs. Preferably, libs and ther elite tss skills. Male Stunters- must be pen t learn tumbling skills. Male Tumblers encuraged t have a full r higher. Cheer/Mtins/Dance These will be taught at tryut clinic and perfrmed in frnt f the judge s panel. Fight sng will be taught during tryut clinic. Bth a male and female versin will be taught.
