8 Read the following statements: I am applying for officer candidacy in the Olathe North Eaglettes Dance Team and have read and understand completely the officer tryout requirements, rules, and procedures. I am fully aware of the extra time, effort, and expense that being an officer entails, and am prepared to devote my time and energy into meeting my obligations if I am selected. If I do not get the position I seek, I will accept the results of the audition gracefully, and will make my positive contributions to the team in whatever capacity I may be given. I will always conduct myself with dignity, style, and good grace, and shall exhibit good will to all the officer candidates both before and after the auditions. I understand that the results of the auditions will be made known to me after the auditions, and that those results will be final. I understand that if chosen as an officer, I am a role model to the team. I understand that if chosen as an officer, I am held to higher standards than my teammates. My compliance to the Eaglette standards and Constitution is crucial and if I do not follow the rules, there will not only be consequences as a team member, but also as a leader. If I am benched for any reason, I will lose my officer position. I understand that there will be expectations of me if chosen as an officer. I understand that if I do not meet those expectations, I will lose my officer position. I understand the importance of being a selfless and will strive to be a servant leader. I understand the importance of supporting the coaches and will always do so. I understand the importance of respect and will always give it to my coaches and to my teammates. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to audition for the position of officer. I am aware that in reaching for this honor, I have placed myself in a league of winners that surpasses any positions that will be awarded at the end of auditions. Officer Candidate Signature Date I also have read the above statements and give my daughter permission to audition for an officer position. I have discussed the statements with my daughter and am assured that she understands and is capable of fulfilling the requirements of the auditions.
