3 July Resident of the Month Ray and Alice Steinbach Ray and Alice met while they were both in college. They were married in 1954 and Ray joined the Army in 1958 and was called first into a unit in Northern Virginia then into one in Jackson. Alice was a Middle School Science teacher at Chelsea Public Schools and Ray was a professor at the University of Michigan. Ray and Alice have 2 boys, Vic and David and they were raised in Chelsea. David currently lives in Gregory and Vic in Allendale. Ray and Alice have 4 grandchildren and love when the family visits! After retirement, Alice and Ray enjoyed traveling together. One trip took them to Europe, where they enjoyed climbing mountains, seeing the sights and visiting family they hadn't seen in years. Alice joined the Legacy family on August 29, 2015 and Ray joined the family on January 31, Alice enjoys exercise, manicures and reading! Ray enjoys playing bingo, watching movies, telling stories and Wii bowling!

5 July Employee of the Month Linda Sheldon Linda was born and raised in Napoleon, Michigan. She has been married for 46 years and has 2 daughters and 1 son. She also has 3 beautiful grandchildren, 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons. Linda enjoys playing word games and reading true stories, especially if they are about the Civil War. One of Linda s ancestors kept a diary during the Civil War and General Lee even stayed with their family once! Linda has worked in the health field as a resident aide for over 20 years. She joined the Legacy team 7 years ago and currently works as an aide on 3rd shift. Linda loves being able to help the residents, talk with them and listen to their stories. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, Linda!
