Apparel Orders Due May 3rd: Want to order Creation Studio Apparel? Now's your chance! Place your orders online by using the link below. All orders must be placed by Thursday, May 3rd. Recital T-Shirt Orders Due May 5th: Fill out the recital T-shirt order form and place it along with payment (please make this a separate payment from all other payments) made out to Creation Studio LLC in drop box by Picture Day Saturday, May 5 th. All proceeds from T-Shirt Sales will go to Creation Studio s Scholarship Fund to provide for dancers in need in the fall. Flower Orders Due May 5th: Lots of great options to order this year! You can place your order at picture day, or you can Miss Jessica what you would like to order, your name, and your dancer name. All proceeds go to our scholarship fund. To see info about options keep reading after the picture day information. DVD Orders: For those of you who want a DVD, order forms have been ed out and are available at the studio. Please place in the drop box with payment of $40 (or $45 if you want it mailed to you). Order forms due by Friday, June 1 st. Music Online: All of our recital music is now cut and on our website so that students can listen and practice at home. Practice truly does make a HUGE different in their success and comfort. Scripture Memory Challenge: Psalms 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. We are challenging our students to memorize scripture verses this year that go along with our recital theme of In All Things Praise. If they can tell the verse to their teacher at class at the end of the month then they will get their name put on that month s square hanging in the waiting room. At recital time, as an extra challenge, if students are able to recite all 8 verses to Miss Erin, they will get a special prize! Thursday Stage Rehearsal May 31st: This is a chance for dancers to get a feel for the stage and know where their places on stage are. No costumes are needed this practice, just normal dance clothes and correct dance shoes. It is essential that all dancers arrive at least 15 min before their scheduled practice time to stretch and get shoes on! There are a lot of classes to fit into the schedule so we will

2 not be able to rerun dances for those who arrive late. This practice is MANDATORY for all dancers. Thank you! For dress rehearsal please do not wear costume tights, wear an old pair to prevent ripping them. Do make sure all dancers have all correct costumes, hairpieces and shoes with them. We will also be practicing hair this night. We will begin rehearsing through show order at 4:45 pm, but we will begin with finale. All dancers should be there are ready to dance 4:30pm. Do not leave at the end of the night until you ensure you have all of your dancer s shoes and costumes together. The cafeteria will be locked at the end of the night so you can keep your items in there, but ensure they are put away neatly and you aren t missing ANY items or hairpieces! Recital: Our recital this year will be Saturday, June 2 nd at 1pm at Hannibal High School. Dancers levels Sapphire and up need to arrive backstage by 11:30am to warm up and stretch, younger dancers need to arrive by 12pm to warm up and stretch backstage. Reminder that the dance mom in charge of your child s group will help their group stay together and be in the right place at the right time, but YOU yourself should be coming back stage to assist them with their costume changes dress rehearsal and recital. Students will sit in the audience to watch dress rehearsal, however, for recital ALL students, except Tiny Tots and Ruby, MUST stay in cafeteria for the ENITRE show. Students going in the audience is distracting and there are not enough seats for them. Tickets will be $5 each you can purchase them at dress rehearsal or the day of, proceeds go directly to the Key Club at Hannibal High School. Ballroom Basics with Miss Amy: Our next ballroom night is Saturday May 12 th from 7pm-8:30pm. Drop in rate - $25 for couples, $20 for singles. No experience needed. Picture Day is May 5 th. We will be using Burton-Sage Photography this year. Please read the following information so you are well informed for picture day. Photos will be taken upstairs in the Zion studio and we will be using Eden studio as a girls changing area. (Boys can use the changing rooms upstairs.) We would like one parent volunteer for each group to help the students. If possible we would like to use the same parent volunteers for the recital on June 2 nd. If you are interested in volunteering please contact: Tara Fresch (redoccsjr@yahoo.com) or Missy Algarin (4jmccalgarin@gmail.com). Thank you. Please bring your child wearing their first costume to help save time. Be sure to bring all costumes, accessories, tights, and shoes for every dance your child is in because this year we will be taking group shots of each dance in the recital.

5 Please make sure to take costumes out of the packaging ahead of time so they are not wrinkled on picture day. Depending on the costume it may need to be steamed ahead of time. How do I order photos? Good news is that you don t have to worry about ordering photos on picture day. Photo s will be available to view online a few days after picture day on Burton-Sage s website. They will be password protected so when they become available an will be sent to everyone so you can start ordering photos. You will have 30 days to order. Orders will not be accepted after the deadline of 6/8/18. No exceptions. Go to the website for photo package pricing, order forms, ordering info (and tutorial). On picture day you must pay a Sitting Fee for every costume you want your child photographed in for individual shoots. When you later place your order, this sitting fee will count as a $20 credit towards your order a $5 credit from Burton-Sage. If you don t want an individual shot, your child will still be photographed in the group shot at no cost. Sitting fees are not refundable if you choose not to order before the deadline. At the shoot, you will receive a payment ticket for every sitting fee purchased which you will give to your child to be handed in to the photographer when taking their individual shots. If they loose the payment ticket, not to worry, just make sure your child knows that they are supposed to be taking an individual shot and they can just tell the photographer they lost their ticket. It is up to the parents to make sure their child knows what individual shots should be taken. The Photographer has no way of knowing. So that photographer and subject are not distracted, Parents are NOT ALLOWED in the photo roomstudents only (exception only for toddlers) Cameras, cell phones or any other recording device is NOT ALLOWED in photo room. Thank you. Cash or Check only. No credit cards. (Make check out to Burton-Sage.) Sitting fee forms are available online to fill out ahead of time and will also be available on picture day. When photos become available online: You will receive a username and password via to view photos online. When ordering you will need to type up, print out, and mail the order form with payment. (Hand written forms will not be accepted (If you don t have the ability to print a form after typing at home please contact Miss Tara she will help you redoccsjr@yahoo.com). You will need to fill out and print a separate order form for every individual sitting fee purchased. Don t forget to add a $5 mailing fee per total order. Photos are mailed directly to you, and will not be delivered to the dance studio. Burton-Sage does a good job of explaining the ordering process in his tutorial.
