(813) Issue 226 July 2014 Page 1 of 12 Editor: Walda Pagucci 8141 Stony Bridge Drive walda@tampabay.rr.com Assistant Editor: Doris Ridgway Nominating Committee The Nominating Committee is still accepting names for the 2015 Board of Directors. If you are interested in running, please call Roberta Klein, , Patty Pickles, , or Frank Messina, We need the names of anyone interested by October 1, Help Reduce Printing Costs Send me an to walda@ tampabay.rr.com to be added to the list of those who get the Grapevine via their . Printing costs are going up and the only way we can reduce the cost of printing the Grapevine is by having more people get it online instead of a printed copy. Right now, I have several (20 +) interesting articles that I would love to include in our newsletter, but that would increase the page count, which would increase the cost to print it. You can help by electing to get the Grapevine via your . Give it a try - what have you got to lose? If you want a copy of a previous issue of the Grapevine, send me an (walda@tampabay.rr.com) and I will send you one. I have a copy of all the Grapevines that I have done saved on my computer. July 4th Pizza Party A pizza party is planned for July 4th. Come and enjoy pizza and salad with your friends in the clubhouse. Bring your own beverage. Tickets are $7.00 per person for members in good standing and $10.00 for guests, and are available from Connie. Be sure to sign up at the bulletin board in the clubhouse to help us determine what kind of pizza everyone likes. CUT OFF DATE FOR TICKETS IS 7/1. If there is not enough interest, this event will be cancelled. Don t Delete The Grapevine Too Fast! It has been brought to my attention that some of those who receive the Grapevine by open it, read it, and delete it - oftentimes before their spouse or significant other has had a chance to read it! Please make sure everyone in your home has seen it before deleting it. It defeats the purpose of sending it electronically to save on printing costs if someone has to get a printed copy because it was deleted before they had a chance to read it. Walda Pagucci, Editor

For recycling YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE BLUE BAGS. Any container that s marked recycle will be picked up the 2ND AND 4TH WEDNESDAY of each month. Newspapers can be taken next door to the government building for recycling. Assistant Editor I would like to thank both Doris Ridgway and Connie Coté for volunteering as Assistant Editor of the Grapevine. As Connie is serving on the Social Committee, in the interest of having more people being active in the community, Doris Ridgway will assume the duty of the Assistant Editor of the Grapevine beginning with the July issue. As Assistant Editor, Doris will be responsible for proofreading the Grapevine and making certain that all the planned events are on the calendar. Please be sure to give her any information on upcoming events. Doris can be reached at Again, my thanks to both of these ladies for volunteering. Proofreading is important because it s very difficult (if not impossible) to proofread something that you ve typed yourself. Having someone proofread will help to ensure that both all planned events are on the calendar, and there will be fewer typos in the content. Walda Pagucci, Editor
