2 LIFE TIME TORCHLIGHT 5K July 18, 2018 Whether you re a dedicated runner or just someone who jogs from the couch to the fridge, the Life Time Torchlight Minneapolis 5k is fun for everyone! Grab your family, friends and running shoes because this event starts with a bang and ends with a brew. That s right, our legendary post-race party features musical entertainment and complimentary refreshments. It s the party of the year that just happens to start with a run! 4 RACE WITHIN A RACE The Healthy Way of Life Challenge, where corporate groups compete for local bragging rights and top prizes, is a complimentary program open to non-elite, 5K distance participants. All team members must be registered for the Life Time Torchlight 5K under your corporate team name with your corporate team registration code. Details include: Teams must consist of at least 10 individuals Team scores will be determined by adding the scoring members age-graded percentages* Team scores will consist of the five highest scoring participants Teams with fewer than ten people will NOT be eligible for competition Teams with more than 10 members must create additional teams Example: If Allina brings 100 athletes, they could create upwards of 10 teams, each with unique names (e.g. Allina Fast Team, Allina Beer Team, etc. ). Top three performing teams with the highest combined scores will receive awards with the 1 st place team earning the Healthy Way of Life Challenge trophy. A fundraising competition to see which team can raise the most money for our official charity partner, Mile in My Shoes, with the winning team receiving a separate award. More info on Mile in My Shoes and their mission can be found here: Additionally, a monetary donation will be made to Mile in My Shoes in the name of the top three teams in the following amounts: 1st $500, 2nd- $250, 3rd $125 Team members are also eligible for individual awards, within their respective age group category. Healthy Way of Life Challenge teams are not eligible to also participate in the Torchlight Team Challenge. Healthy Way of Life Challenge inclusion, names and rosters can be submitted to the Challenge Coordinator via mkuzara@lt.life and must be submitted one week prior to race day. *Scoring may change due to timers. 5 STAND OUT The Healthy Way of Life Challenge teams are encouraged to stand out and make their presence known. TEAM SHIRT CONTEST 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place awards will be given to the teams with the best Healthy Way of Life Challenge team shirt. *With a minimum of 30 days notice, Life Time Events will assist in sourcing and printing of shirts. 6 TORCHLIGHT FINISH FESTIVAL FATHER HENNEPIN PARK July 18, 2018 Families and friends are invited to join our participants in the Finish Festival to celebrate their accomplishment as well as cheer on other participants as they cross the Finish Line. The Finish Festival features a lively atmosphere complete with live music, food, beer, a sponsor village and great activities for all ages. Treat Your Employees Healthy Way of Life Challenge participants may chose to add to their hospitality tent and their overall participant experience. We are happy to connect you with the official caterer of the Life Time Torchlight 5K who has exclusive access to the Torchlight Finish Festival. 5

7 PAYMENT OPTIONS There are two different payment options that Corporate Teams participating in the Healthy Way of Life Challenge can choose from. BULK PAYMENT In this option, corporate groups pay for all of their employees entries at once. All employees will be given coupon codes to register for the event for $0.00, then after the event each company will be responsible for paying for all of their entries. INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE PAYMENT In this option, each employee will be responsible for paying for their own entry. Depending on the Team Perks Level your company is in and thus the amount of registration discount earned, each employee will be given a coupon code to use during registration to redeem their discount. 6
