Who is going to be our next RED jacket (3 active recruits)? Look in this newsletter for the company promotions to help you get into RED. If you go on Intouch s home page, it has a 6 week e-training program to help you develop your team. I will have an exciting surprise for you each week that you complete the training.just let me know by that Wednesday before our Thurs. events. We just finished the discussion of week 1 at the end of Sept., so you are not too far behind to join us. Even if you haven t done the training, the discussion is very beneficial to improving your leadership skills. This year, we are striving to hit $10,000 a month and 100 unit members. We are only 10 away with 90 non-terminated unit members. We only had 14 ordering recruits toward our monthly goal of 20 that we need. Be a part of the Century Club by adding 100 new clients this year (2 a week). Teri Curp is at 16 new since July. Still call me every time you sell $100 + in a day. We will be drawing weekly at Thurs. meeting for a great prize from those people who have achieved it that week (be sure to complete your Weekly Accomplishment Sheet online or on paper.) What are you planning to do to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month? I am donating $5 for every Satin Hands set sold and $1 for every facial this month to the MK Ash Charitable Foundation. You will find details in the newsletter about a Cute for a Cause makeovers since this is the best month to actually get women to take time out to have a facial or a party. It is also time to start thinking about helping them with their holiday shopping, too. Attend our Holiday Packaging Night on Thurs., Oct. 9 th at 6:30. Bring your products to put into sets, especially hand cream, lip balms, shave creams, EFLT and EENC. If you would like to jumpstart your business, please call me for a personal mentoring session this month over the phone or over coffee, or before Thursday meeting. 4 Consultant SPOTLIGHT Debbie Coyle started her MK business 20 years ago when she lived in Lee's Summit and helped Karen in her classroom. She built a customer base here and trained with Asenath Brock, our director, for 5 years before she moved to California to be with her mom through her fight with Breast Cancer. She gained clients by holding incredible parties and open houses, and having excellent customer service. She has been our Queen of Sales every year as a unit except one. Debbie started working in the California school system in 1999, and for her husband David's business, Precision Allison Transmissions, while being closely involved with her 2 children's education as they grew up. She raised her children on Mary Kay values and principles, always telling them to be a person of their word (as Asenath always told her) and be the best you can be. Crissy is now 24, and recently received her AA from Citrus College. She works for Claremont Unified School District as an Instructional Aide, but is striving to be a Social Worker for young children. Davey, as we call him, is now 26, and living with friends near home. He is a mechanical engineer for his father's business and his right hand. Debbie LOVES animals/children and takes in any whom need a great, loving home. Deb earned her B.A. degree in Social Sciences with Education Concentration from Ashford University. She just got a new position as Office Manager for Sumner Elementary in the Claremont Unified School District, where she has worked for 15 years as a Physical Education Instructor, and Paraeducator in Special Education/After School Care. She has been to Seminar 2 times. Her favorite thing about MK is the friendships she has made throughout her years in Mary Kay and the products themselves. She believes whole heartedly in the Mary Kay Line and what the company stands for and shares it with whomever will listen.

As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am conducting a Get Cute for a Cause Makeover Marathon and have set a goal of helping 100 FACES to be MORE beautiful by the end of October.
