2 Tentative Schedule Friday, July 27 Grade exams: 10:00 am 5:00 pm, Bellarmine Prep Saturday, July 28 Competitions will begin at 8:00 am at Bellarmine Prep Open Championships All ages Preliminary Championships All ages Solos (Grade levels) All Ages including Adults Ceili Dances All Ages (note this is the only day Ceili dances are offered) All special trophy dances for all levels and ages Charity Costume Dance & Open Champion Dance off will be held at the end of the day after the Ceili competitions This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change based on actual registration Dance for Life Feis Fees Open Championship $50.00 Preliminary Championship $50.00 Solos, flat fee light shoe $20.00 Solos, flat fee hard shoe $15.00 Figures, flat fee beginner and open $10.00 Specials $10.00 Family Registration Fee $25.00 Late Fee: Entries accepted between 7/14 7/21 $20.00 Entries accepted after July 21 Feis Program Prepaid (Note: The program combines the Dance for Life Feis & Mt. Rainier Feis information. You will only need to purchase the program once.) $50.00 $5.00 Please Note: - This feis accepts only US funds drawn on a US bank. There is no exception to this policy. - The Family Registration Fee includes access to online results; no printed results will be sold at the feis. - The Family Maximum is $150 and excludes any specials, family registration, program and late fees. - Dancers who have moved up in level at the Dance for Life Feis, and who are competing in the Mt. Rainier Feis the following day, may change their level for that feis. All changes in level for the Mt. Rainier Feis must be done by 5:00 on Saturday, July 28. Grade Examinations We are pleased to again offer grade examinations as part of the Dance for Life & Mt. Rainier feis. This year we will be offering the grade exams on Friday, July 27. May be danced in groups (see below) * Dancers may only register for a trophy dance at the current level of their reel. ** The costume charity trophy special will be held at the end of the day s competitions. Dancers may enter as individuals or in groups. The theme this year is My Favorite Storybook Character. Dancers will register for this dance at the time of the competition and pay the $10.00 donation entry fee in cash when they sign in. All proceeds will be donated to the Murray School Go Fund Me Drive to help our friends recover from their studio fire. Dancing Competition Rules 1. Rules 1-29 adopted by North American Feis Commission are included by reference. 2. Competitors must be in the hall, prepared to dance, one hour prior to the scheduled beginning of their event. 3. Dancers who appear in competitions for which they are not registered will not be eligible for placement or awards. 4. When awards are announced from the stage, competitors must be in costume, including dance shoes, to receive their awards. 5. Scoil Rince Slieveloughane, Bellarmine Prep, the Feis Committee and anyone associated with the Committee in putting on the Feis, shall not be held responsible or liable for any personal injury, property loss, or damage incurred before, during, or after the feis, by any participants or by anyone attending the event.
