Cubed Happy Hopper Happenings 2017 Calendar Upcoming Dances: April 15 Diamond Anniversary Caller: Dan Preedy Cuer: Karen Neverdowski May 6 Mexican Hat Dance Caller: Gary Monday Cuer: Bob Berka May 20 Live to Dance, Dance To Live Caller: Noseck & Thomaier Cuer: Caron Grasso Business meetings are held the first Tues. after the first Wed. 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. of each month at Cedarcrest Middle School, th Street NE, Marysville Next meeting will be May 9, 2017 Hi Hoppers, We had a great turnout and a fun time visiting with fellow Hoppers at the Dinner Meeting at the Buzz Inn in Arlington Tuesday evening. A great big Thank you to Doug and Alice Newman for their work organizing the outing!! Eric and Cindy Selby awarded the Hopper of the Year to Anne Lucas and Ray Baron, a very well deserved award to a couple who have always been there for the club. The look on Anne s face when she realized she had won was priceless!! Tinamarie mentioned an important item during the meeting even though his is a club dance, it is our 60 th Anniversary dance and we are asking all Hopper members to dress in their caravan outfits. (If you don t have an official outfit, it is fine to wear something in Blue and Silver). The reason for the caravan outfits is that we will be taking a group photo of the Hoppers four website and newsletter and for posterity. The las group photo was taken at the Samena s so this will be a great time to have a new updated photo with our caravan outfits and in the hall where we dance. Dan Preedy is excited and ready to call a great dance, and the Hoppers and their guests are ready to party. Hope to see you all at our Anniversary Dance!! 2 Page 2, HCubed April 2017 Happy Hopper Happenings Happy Hopper Annual Dinner Meeting Last night 46 Happy Hopper members met at The Buzz Inn in Arlington for the club s annual dinner meeting and to celebrate our club and bestow the coveted Happy Hopper of the Year award. A good time was had by all, the friendliness and affection of the Happy Hoppers for each other was in full display, and the food and service was excellent. We have a great club, with many outstanding people, and it is an honor to be associated with the club!
