2 Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Girl Scout Promise

4 Set-Up: Set-up table & chairs for brownie meeting, parents table Set-up/pass out craft & any supplies Flag: Set up flag for troop meeting Start Pledge with troop o Follow commands (see steps) Opening/Meeting Starter: Once flag is set up and pledge is said, gather everyone in troop circle to say Girl Scout Promise. Pick a quick game/song/or story/ to start the meeting with *Discuss troop business (activities/events, badges/patches, FUNwork, etc., - Ms. Amber will help with this part) Attendance: Takes attendance for the troop (put in file cabinet when complete) Dues: Collect dues from troop members. Count dues and tell troop total Sign name on tally sheet Handouts: Passes out/collect papers Helps leaders Floater: Fill in when someone is not here Closing: Bridge of silence to the circle for closing Decides on the seconds (one something to say about the meeting) Ms. Amber reminders Starts friendship squeeze Clean-Up: EVERYONE IS TO CLEAN UP! But you are to make sure it gets done cannot leave until everyone is put away/cleaned up.

7 The B s of the BUCKS BE PREPARED Bringing requested supplies, forms, permission slips, FUNwork, etc. on time, when due, can earn you a Brownie Buck. BE PRESENT Attending a meeting can earn you 1891 Bucks. BE PROMPT Meetings start at 6:30pm. If you arrive before 6:35, you can earn 1891 Bucks BE PROUD Wear your uniform to school, on meeting days, Girl Scout events or when asked, earns you a 1891 Buck. BE CONSIDERATE - When some else is talking, do not interrupt. Use the Brownie sign to get notice, doing so can earn you a 1891 Buck. BEHAVE If you are acting like a Girl Scout, you can earn an 1891 Buck. NOT, can have one taken away. THE TROOP STORE WILL BE OPENED, USUALLY, EVERY OTHER MONTH AND AFTER AWARDS CEREMONIES. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED, IN ADVANCE, WHEN THE STORE WILL BE OPEN. 22
