1 Bellevue Public Schools BPS Community News September 2015 Bellevue Public Schools Youth Basketball Leagues 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade Boys and Girls Registrations will be taken through November 8, 2015 at the BPS Lied Activity Center, 2700 Arboretum Drive (Hwy. 370 & Fort Crook Road). Please make checks payable to the BPS Lied Activity Center. (Please do not turn this in to your child s school) Objectives: Cost: To teach basketball fundamentals, stress good sportsmanship and to HAVE FUN! $45.00 for members and $65.00 for non-members (Includes T-shirt) Dates: Saturdays - Dec. 5, 2015 Jan. 30, 2016 (No games Dec. 27th and January 2nd) Times: Location: Games - 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 a.m. (Practices determined by coaches) Bellevue Public Schools Middle Schools Bellevue Public Schools K-2nd Grade Boys and Girls Youth Basketball League Registrations will be taken through November 8, 2015 (or until teams are full) at the BPS Lied Activity Center, 2700 Arboretum Drive (Hwy. 370 & Fort Crook Road) Please make checks payable to the BPS Lied Activity Center (Please do not turn this in to your child s school) Objectives: Cost: To teach basketball fundamentals, stress good sportsmanship, and to HAVE FUN! $35.00 members/$55.00 non-members (Includes T-Shirt) Dates: Tuesdays, Nov. 17 Dec. 15, 2015 Times: Kindergarten 6:00-7:00 p.m. 1st and 2nd Grade 6:00-7:00 p.m. or 7:00-8:00 p.m. Location: All games and practices will be at the BPS Lied Activity Center.

2 Bellevue ICE Girls Basketball Club Tryouts The Bellevue ICE Basketball Club is a select basketball organization that focuses on improving the fundamental skills of basketball and teamwork for girls in grades 3-8 that are planning on attending Bellevue East High School. Vendors keep all their sales. We are asking each vendor for an item to donate towards the raffles. Three divisions are offered: 3-4th grade, 5-6th grade & 7-8th grade. Leagues will begin the week of October 12, 2015 and the season will end December 19th. All teams will play 8-10 matches. When: October 16, 2015 Time: Enter through the south gym doors at 5:00pm. Your child will join the spirit squad for practice. Kickoff is at 7pm and your student can cheer as much of the game as they would like.
