2 Animas Football Middle School The Mid School football ended the season with 4-0 record. I was impressed with how the team improved the year ~ Coach Winkler. The Mid School opened their season against Ft. Thomas at home and played a close game that went into the 4 th quarter and ended with a win. The Mid school team had lost to Ft. Thomas the previous year. It was a great way to start the year. The game gave our kids some confidence and showed them that they were improving from the previous year ~ Coach Winkler. Each week our Mid School kids kept working and some of the older players were good players were good role models that provide encouragement. I was happy to work with the Mid School every day knowing that they were the future of Animas football. ~Coach Winkler
3 High School Football Varsity The varsity football ended with a 6-3 record. It was a season that required some of our younger players to come up and play from the very beginning of our season. ~ Coach Winkler. The team Started the season with a scrimmage in Ft. Hancock, Texas and went into the Quarter finals of the state playoffs being beaten by san Jon
