1 September 8th, 2014 Included in this newsletter: Pre-Tryout Clinics Volley Fest Tournament Tryout Registration Emily Bench Club Photographer October Bingo Pictures Pre-Tryout Clinic Attention all U14 Volleyball Players This Sunday: September 14th ** Check in 1pm-1:30pm** ** Clinic runs 1:30pm-4pm** Our 14 and under teams consistently finish extremely high in the RMR Region. 12 Black last season was ranked in the Top 25 in the country! 13 Black won Northern Lights JNQ! 13 Blue and 14 Blue finished Top 6 within RMR. 2 seeing you all there! U14 Pre-Tryout Clinic NORCO's Annual Volley Fest Tournament September 20th This is a great tournament for middle school age athletes to come together and have a blast. So grab a group of players, make a team and click below to register! Volley Fest Tournament Tryout registration for Club Season is now available! (This registration is for full season players. Prep team registration will be available soon) Tryouts are completely open to EVERYONE interested in playing for NORCO Volleyball. EVERY athlete (whether a new or former NORCO player) has the same opportunity to be selected to any of our teams. Team selection will be based upon the athlete's skill, position, work ethic, leadership, coachablilty, and attitude. All athletes will be evaluated by many different coaches during open gyms and tryouts. Every effort will be made to place each athlete on the most appropriate team. Coaches have the discretion to make offers to potential athletes prior to the conclusion of tryouts. All NORCO teams (Regional and National) are competitive and, as such, the coaches (and players) on every NORCO team will be held to the same expectation and standards. It is our expectation that those attending tryouts are genuinely interested in playing for NORCO and plan to make the commitment, 2/6

Emily was recently the Women's assistant coach at Gettysburg College before moving back to Ft. Collins. She played club ball for 6 years and high school for 4 receiving three 3/6

4 year Varsity Letter honors. She competed as a D1 volleyball athlete (CSU) and played in 3 Championships in the Mountain West Conference. Emily earned Scholar Athlete, Academic All-Conference, Most Values Practice Player and Deans List Recognition while playing for Colorado State's Volleyball program. She will be joining our NORCO staff for the 2014/15 Club Season. Emily and her husband will also be welcoming their new baby daughter to be born on or around try-outs. The birth of another future great NORCO player! 2014/15 Club Photographer Christy Grosboll, founder and owner of Sugar Mill Photography, has been photographing babies, seniors and families for over 10 years. She also really enjoys shooting sports teams. She is very excited to join the NORCO Family this year and have the opportunity to photograph their teams. With two of her three daughters in volleyball, she understands and values how much time and dedication the girls and families put forth for the sport. Capturing it is an important part of their journey. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America and is a Certified Professional Photographer.
